Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, DEC
A lot of people are counting out Ortega completely but I think this will be a close fight. Obviously Ortega's jiu-jitsu is superior but Rodriguez is more than capable of keeping up on the ground. They both could use improvements in their wrestling and Yair has the slicker striking with the size and length advantage. I think Ortega's striking is wild enough to find success but ultimately Yair will have more significant moments

I just hope Ortega don’t loss in a way that he has to take a year off. People like to clown on Ortega inactivity, But Volk and Holloway landed 200+ strikes on him and Yair broke his arm, it be nice for Ortega to be able to be more active

Also, he won’t hog ranking spots from wins that happen a good 5 year ago

Because of that he really needs a win here to prevent more people believing he's washed up

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Ricky Turcios, DEC
Turcios by decision. Raul gasses quick and Turcios could easily put him on the back foot and put a crazy pace on him in this fight. Have Raul gas quickly with the pace and pressure, cruise to an easy decision win.

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 570 Points   |   Tied for 1741st

Moreno vs. Royval II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Royval is a dawg but I he didn't have a full camp for this & it's at high elevation

Rodriguez vs. Ortega II
Yair Rodriguez, TKO, R3
Ortega too old inactive and soy for me to pick him. Body kick tko

Zellhuber vs. Prado
Francisco Prado, DEC
I think Prado can pull off the upset in this fight. Both are good young prospects but I like what I see in Prado more than I do zellhuber

Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Raul Rosas Jr., DEC
Solid matchup I don't hate turcios chances but I think Rosa's get the win in a very close grappling heavy fight

Jauregui vs. Hughes
Yazmin Jauregui, DEC
I could honestly see Sam getting the upset. She has a non stop pace which could tire out jauregui on high elevation. But i think she can defend the takedowns and out box Hughes

Torres vs. Duncan
Manuel Torres, TKO, R1
I think Chris Duncan is **** but I can also see him somehow grinding out a win. Hopefully he gets brutally ko:d

Quiñonez vs. Barcelos
Raoni Barcelos, SUB, R2
I think barcelos is better all around but I do worry because he's getting old and slow. I could see him gassing out at high elevation

Aguilar vs. Mendonça
Mateus Mendonça, DEC
Mendoca chin and fight IQ worry me but I think he's better than Aguilar

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, SUB, R1
Lacerda doesn't belong in the ufc. Chairez gonna sleep this bum

Puelles vs. Ziam
Fares Ziam, DEC
Puelles has good ju jit su but is trash everywhere else

Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Luis Rodríguez, DEC
Fading brittle bondar

Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Felipe dos Santos, DEC
Should be on the main card. Both scrappy but dos Santos is more dangerous

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, TKO, R2
Complete mismatch holy **** 🤣

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, TKO, R2
Naimov had some controversy in his featherweight debut, but he looked strong in there and had a good performance against a really tough opponent. Silva isn't on his level. Naimov has the power to put his lights out on the feet and the strength to overpower him in the grappling. He gets him out of there round 2 with either ground and pound or a SUB

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, SUB, R1
Erik Silva is not UFC material, gives himself bad position on the ground, only has a chance to win through flashy kicks which will likely not land.

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 455 Points   |   Tied for 3564th

Rodríguez vs. Bondar
Denys Bondar, SUB, R1
This one is interesting. Bondar's first fight after his injury did not go well at all, as he got absolutely murdered and then should've been KOd, but he lost a TD to Carlos Hernandez. Now he gets Lazy Boy who's making his UFC debut. Looking thru Rodriguez's record, he's had some good wins but has mostly crushed cans, and the only UFC talent he's faced in Jerome Rivera beat him in DWCS. I am very surprised that people aren't picking Bondar by sub. I think he puts the pressure on Rodriguez before RNCing him in the first round.

Altamirano vs. dos Santos
Victor Altamirano, DEC
I loved watching Altamirano fight ever since his LFA days. He dominated LFA and then had an awesome fight with Candelario in DWCS where they both got signed to the UFC (when are they running that fight back?). His striking could definitely use some work, but the potential is there for sure, even at 33. Dos Santos is a great test for El Magnifico though. He went toe-to-toe with Manel freaking Kape and although he got whooped, he still lasted 3 rounds against one of the best KO artists in the Flyweight division. I still have Altamirano just because he's more experienced and I haven't see much other than the chin from Dos Santos.

Naimov vs. Silva
Muhammad Naimov, TKO, R2
Naimov should win this pretty easily. He's got pretty good power so I was very surprised when he went 3 rounds with Wood and got the win. Very bright future for Naimov.

Yair to win on his country floor and secure a title shot against Topuria at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium (Madrid, Spain). Evloev deserves the title shot, but Yair and Ilia has a beef that would not only have a greater media impact but also represent an interesting clash of fighting styles.

He fought Askarov in Mexico City and looked fine too so you might be right. Elevation is weirdly unpredictable in how it effects ppl though.
