Rakic wants Jiri to step in on short notice after getting KO'd recently, interesting, Jiri said he will do it in feb/march.

Rakic has been out for so long with injuries so he should know what injuries do.

To be fair, every top fighter at 205 should be/ is upset, other than Pereira, it has been full of bad luck for everyone at the top. Jan's frustrations come from Jiri agreeing to fight him after his title win, which never happened, before that his Rakic win was because of an injury, then the draw vs Ank - a close fight, then he felt like he won vs Alex - it was a close fight, now he is injured. I don't blame him for being upset at all.

And I also understand why Alex would call out Izzy for the 5th matchup at LHW after being brutally KO'd their last fight.

Huge day for business and end that rivalry. Just like Blachowicz was given the chance to when Adesanya wanted to move up

Than for Rakic I understand why Jan mad at Rakic talking ****, but he's out for awhile now, cant do anything and pulled out of the fight that Rakic most certainly felt he was robbed in due to leg injury.
If I was Rakic I'd be a lil angry aswell, wether or not it was justified.

Truthfully, Jan just has a problem with everybody at the top of the division, because he's in the rear view mirror.

Jamal and Jan are obviously out, Jiri won't fight before March / April in the best case scenario, Dana won't give Ankalaev another title shot as long as there are 2 healthy fighters in the top 15. Rakic and Krylov would make most sense just by the sheer process of elimination. Of course there's potentially Walker and maybe even Smith but....

we need Bearjew back in LH, a man who somehow has a win and a loss against everyone in the division, just to additionally complicate this cluster****.

Alex is one of the few champs definitely available for UFC300 and both Ankalaev-Walker & Jan-Rakic were cca 3 months before UFC300. I guess they are hoping that Krylov steps in for Jan and that Walker whoops Magomed dominantly.

@CrimsonChinGuru But Jan's situation was completely different with Izzy, he didn't ask for it, and according to majority of the people Izzy was supposed to just destroy Jan and call out Jones. Jan was used as a setup but he proved majority of the people wrong.
Jan only has problems because he feels he is not being respected, which is true. The whole promotion and commentary was all Izzy. Then promotion was about Glover's story. Then it was all about Rakic as a future champ or Ank as a future champ. Then Pereira's legacy. The worst one was Joe Rogan telling him Ank won the fight immediately after the fight in the octagon, that's very disrespectful.
Jan has been respectul towards everyone until recently and took every fight that was offered to him. Jan's activity is a lot higher than Rakic in recent years, so Rakic coming out and saying Jan doesn't want to fight him is disrespectful and unnecessary.

I alway be a big fan of Jan for having the biggest career comeback in mma history, from being one fight from being cut to champion, can’t not be a fan of that

He was a 1-4 start to his UFC career and I thought he was the worst guy in the division in 2016-17,
