Predictions: 4 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points   |   Tied for 4085th

Allen vs. Evloev
Arnold Allen, DEC
Definitely going the distance, could go either way. I like Allen’s pace, pressure and volume on the feet against Holloway - if the judges go off damage and output, Allen takes it 29-28.

Katona vs. Armfield
Brad Katona, DEC
Katona is pretty underrated and ought to win this, unless he wants to be cut again.

Jourdain vs. Woodson
Charles Jourdain, SUB, R3
Should be a lock. Woodson will struggle under Jourdain’s pressure. Another win for the home crowd

Sidey vs. Taveras II
Serhiy Sidey, TKO, R1
Honestly could go either way. Won’t go the distance.

Robertson vs. Viana
Gillian Robertson, DEC
Robertson is marginally better, and will stick to a wrestling gameplan that ought to work against Polyana.

Lainesse vs. Patterson
Yohan Lainesse, TKO, R2
Patterson might look good early on, but sadly is simply too chinny. Especially up at welterweight…

Jasudavicius vs. Cachoeira
Jasmine Jasudavicius, DEC
Jasmine is better, obviously.

Gordon vs. Flick
Malcolm Gordon, SUB, R2
Competitive. Flick has looked terrible recently, and Gordon’s losses have come against semi-decent competition. Probably a finish, probably by Gordon.

Strickland vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
I think Sean's defense won't matter too much when Du Plessis just charges forward like a berserker. Du Plessis doesn't have that Adesanya pitter-patter style

Allen vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
Evloev is a decision master

Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 2566th

Robertson vs. Viana
Gillian Robertson, SUB, R2
Not super confident in this pick, but if Lucindo can sub Viana, then Robertson should be able to as well.

Lainesse vs. Patterson
Yohan Lainesse, TKO, R2
Battle of the cans. Lainesse sucks, but Patterson is too chinny to trust. Lainesse gets the finish here.

Jasudavicius vs. Cachoeira
Jasmine Jasudavicius, DEC
Jasudavicius has already fought and beat tougher opponents. Kind of odd matchmaking and an easy pick here. Priscila always has a puncher's chance, but that's not likely.

Gordon vs. Flick
Malcolm Gordon, TKO, R1
BJJ nerd gets smashed. Flick has been ground and pounded out in both of his fights since making his return. Same thing happens here.

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 444th

Strickland vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
Sean's defense is elite but I think DDP is too unorthodox for normal fundamentals to work the same way as they did against Izzy. If Sean survives the first 2 rounds I like him to win a decision but I think DDP's pressure is going to be way too much for him to handle.

Pennington vs. Bueno Silva
Mayra Bueno Silva, SUB, R3
I don't love Pennington's inactivity and age, if this goes the distance she probably wins it but I think that MBS is going for the finish from the very beginning and will find it sooner rather than later

Magny vs. Malott
Mike Malott, SUB, R2
I like Neal but recently he can only win fights against snoozefest point fighters who don't push the pace at all. Malott goes out to take heads when he fights and his pace should overwhelm Neal.

Curtis vs. Barriault
Chris Curtis, TKO, R3
Great matchmaking. I think Powerbar has a very legit chance to steal the first two rounds and win a dec but Curtis' experience should allow him to prevent that and grab the win in the later rounds.

Allen vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
FOTN candidate, I think Movsar deserves a shot at Volk if he wins this and Volk beats Topuria. I see Movsar doing just enough to win a tight decision, his last fight was close not because he is bad/a fraud but because Diego Lopes is a legit mf beast that we all slept on

Katona vs. Armfield
Brad Katona, DEC
30-27

Jourdain vs. Woodson
Sean Woodson, DEC
29-28 regardless of who wins imo good matchmaking

Sidey vs. Taveras II
Serhiy Sidey, TKO, R1
This happened 4 months ago like why bruh

Robertson vs. Viana
Gillian Robertson, SUB, R2
Home field advantage rahhhhhh

Lainesse vs. Patterson
Yohan Lainesse, TKO, R2
I can't trust a guy who got 1 punch killed at LW moving up, but Lainesse is also pretty awful so this is basically a coinflip

Jasudavicius vs. Cachoeira
Jasmine Jasudavicius, DEC
Home field advantage 30-27

Gordon vs. Flick
Jimmy Flick, SUB, R1
I'm not ready to give up on Jimmy just yet, I think he has just enough in the tank to get the job done here. However if this goes to a decision Gordon prob wins pretty easily.

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 739th

Strickland vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
“here’s the ****** thing you guys” i think dricus (with a now functioning nose) will not have cardio issues and will make mr. america fight off the back foot, which he is not particularly good at (was getting pieced by abus in the same situation). won’t get into emotions but i also believe that favors DDP

Pennington vs. Bueno Silva
Mayra Bueno Silva, DEC
rocky has way better fundamentals but that’ll only take you so far in the fight game. silva has pop and solid grappling and i feel like that’s all she needs to edge a close decision

Magny vs. Malott
Mike Malott, SUB, R3
magny is a great gatekeeper but i just feel like his time is finally up as that gatekeeper. his mileage is ramping up and im very high on the skills of mike. either a late submission or a dominant decision for the canadian sensation

Allen vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
hardest fight on the card for me but i think evloev striking has evolved enough to at least keep up with allen on the feet which will set up his entries. I expect a close decision with arnold dealing good damage.

Jourdain vs. Woodson
Charles Jourdain, DEC
woodson’s defense is mediocre at best and i trust in jourdain to close the distance and get it done.

Lainesse vs. Patterson
Yohan Lainesse, KO, R2
yohan has very solid pop and patterson is a big fan of leaving his chin on a silver platter (an english specialty!).

Gordon vs. Flick
Jimmy Flick, SUB, R2
malcoms takedown defense is not up to par. i like flicks grappling even though his stand up is a treasure trove of garbage

Sam Patterson

I’ve waited for this guy to fight after being g put to sleep by a a midget. Sam Patterson had a 5” height advantage and 10” reach advantage and still found a way to get KO’d. Yohan by any means!!

Watching embedded and you can tell the UFC want Myra to win. Raquel hasn’t been on either of the first 2 embedded episode

Don’t think I ever seen a co-main fighter not promoted on embedded especially when they’re about a 50-50 chance she bbecome champ

Strickland has fought 25 minutes in 4 of his last 6 fights. DDP has only reached a 3rd round a total of six times and both of his losses are by 3rd round finish. There is a huge question mark regarding DDP fighting championship rounds IMO. Now, I will say I just watched a video of DDP at a grappling tournament where he beat an entire team of Gracie guys by himself. I mention this strictly to highlight that DDP is obviously an insane athlete. Just because we've never seen him in championship rounds doesn't necessarily mean he won't perform well.

It would actually be very interesting if DDP decided to try grapple more in this fight. It's without question the most under-rated part of his game.
