Nicolau vs. Kape II
Manel Kape, TKO, R1
Brandon Royval stole Manels favorite strike against Nicolau. Its surprising a chin that wide is toast. Manel hasn't been going for finishes lately. Nicolaus is likely to get caught on the mat with an elbow or flying knee if we're lucky.

This card is actually really good for a Apex Card. banger matchups and prospects on it,  good card after a month break.
Was expecting way worse with this being a Apex Card

VAN vs BUNES

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 370 Points   |   Tied for 4206th

a lot different of a fight now for Bunes i think Van is going to win a  decision after possibly losing the first round, Van can be cracked in the chin but he gets up very fast and on the mat he knows what he’s doing he has some pretty good jiu jitsu himself so i don’t think Bunes will find a sub here and on the feet Van is going to bring the pressure with his superior boxing and i love the way he throws body shots i don’t think he will break Bunes but i def see him winning the rounds

ANKLAEV vs WALKER

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 370 Points   |   Tied for 4206th

i’m going to start with walker who people are saying is this new mythical fighter walker has learned to fight with some more patience yes but that does not mean he doesn’t throw crazy sloppy strikes walker does have death touch and great low kicks he also throws some mean shots when you shoot a single leg but he does not have good takedown defense and still is very chinny and leaves his chin out in the air when throwing shots for someone to land a clean counter and i think that’s magomeds best part about his striking he throws clean counter Jabs and straight lefts Magomed isn’t the best striker in the world but hits very very hard and when he drops walker he will finish him on the ground in the first round i don’t think walkers leg kicks are going to play a factor here

I don’t want Johnny Walker to get smarter, I don’t alway think "smarter = better”, i think it good what coach Kavanaugh doing, making Johnny fight smarter while still being Johnny Walker, I think it’s a hindrance to lose who you are as a fighter to become ‘smarter’, it’s way better to become a smarter version of yourself

Best example of what I’m talking about is Colby Covington, he’s new coach ruin him by trying to make him ‘smarter’, Colby a pressure guy and he’s good because their hundreds of attacks coming at you, he’s new coach turned him into a low volume fighter and now he so much worst now then when he was at ATT

@DamienHandel420
Another fighter that I truly wish would stay himself is Trevor Peek. He won his last fight by fighting more reserved but that is not what brought him sucess and allowed him to get to the UFC.

He is trying to better himself as a fighter but I think he is taking away to much of the wildness that makes him not only super entertaining for the fans but also a threat for his opponents.

Other then the main event, this card bad. Nicolau-Kape, Vierra-Chiason, Hawes-Ferreira, Arlovsky-Acosta are PFL regular season prelim card level and the rest are at best LFA level.

PPV have been very good lately, but they need to put something on those figth night if they want us to tune in Saturday night and not just watch 2 figths on Youtube Sunday morning.

If Phil Hawes goes in with the game plan to avoid the fight, should he be a decent favorite. Phil Hawes is way better fighter and if he goes with the game plan to take advantage of his grappling, he should work and he won’t get slept in domient position.

I’m tempted to bet him as underdog, hoping he fight game plan to avoid getting hit, or don’t get cold ****ed

12 fighters on the main card and 8 of them are ranked. Very good for a Fight Night card.

Best underdog pick WAS Ferreira if you got ML on him early before the line flipped

The confidence in Ferreira is kind of crazy to me. His only chance at winning is a ko. I get hawes is a glass jaw but it’s not like ferriera is the better fighter anywhere, he’s honestly pretty bad. Hawes has only lost to top 15 level guys and ferriera is definitely not that. Not saying hawes is a lock but kind of crazy that everyone is on his opponent when he only has one win condition

I for one would not say that I am confident that he wins, but IF I was one who liked to bet on dogs, this scenario makes sense to me

I do have some bets on him, but only because I have some promotional free bets

BTW I think Jim Miller is a reasonable dog pick as well (for free bets hah)

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 1726th

Ankalaev vs. Walker II
Magomed Ankalaev, DEC
Same as last time I think Ankalaev is gonna be too technical for Walker to deal with. Would love a Johnny Walker upset here & it's hard to make a prediction based off of the first fight considering it didn't go on for long and was against the cage for most of it. Wouldn't be shocked to see a late TKO tho either from one or the other really.

Nicolau vs. Kape II
Manel Kape, DEC
Kape's got this in the bag.

Miller vs. Benítez
Jim Miller, TKO, R1
I see a flash KO win for Jersey's own. Wouldn't be surprised to see a sub either here but I don't like seeing the amount of KO losses Benitez has @ Featherweight especially to the likes of Fili & Youseff.

Vieira vs. Chiasson
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Who honestly gives a ****??

Simón vs. Bautista
Ricky Simón, DEC
I feel like Ricky is easily the better of the two and the competition he's faced up until now is gonna show that gap.

Hawes vs. Ferreira
Brunno Ferreira, TKO, R1
I feel like my prediction here is gonna be a lock: Hawes is gonna be doing pretty good on the feet for a minute or two into the 1st and out of the blue is gonna get caught & chinned into the bleachers badly w/ a flat lining KO.

Arlovski vs. Cortes-Acosta
Waldo Cortes-Acosta, DEC
I see this going to a fairly competitive decision that'll leave Cortes-Acosta w/ the dub after narrowingly outpointing Arlovski on the feet. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take a TKO / KO win tho over Andre.

McGhee vs. Bolaños
Marcus McGhee, TKO, R2
Definitely see a finish here either way but gonna more so side w/ McGhee on this one by TKO.

Basharat vs. Lapilus
Farid Basharat, DEC
Both Basharat brothers are a problem for anyone standing in their way. Lapilus is good as well, just don't see him getting through Farid.

Nolan vs. Motta
Tom Nolan, TKO, R2
I easily see a RD 1 or 2 KO here from Nolan
