I think Salikhov is either late 30 or early 40s to be fair to him, He' most likely was never going to be the same guy he was in his prime, Unless he's a freak of nature like Yoel, Coutour  or Glover

Yeah, my sentiments exactly. He should be able to grab the win here, not saying he'll never win again in the UFC from here on out etc or anything like that - I just think his chances at any serious run are beyond gone at this point, and if anything he'll just put on solid gatekeeping-esque fights until he ends up retiring or not renewing his contract and hanging them up after a few fights outside of UFC.

Really hope to see Torres and Modestas grab wins here.

Argueta finally debuting at bantamweight. I like his chances against Ronnie Lawrence. That's a really good fight.

This card will need a few more of them and a solid co-main though. Pretty weak on paper as of right now and we're already at 9 fights.

Strickland was robbed against Jared. I think Vetorri is way more motivated to improve himself in all departments.

Why is the main event lousy? Both guys are at the top of the division, former title challengers & decent names in MMA…
Of everything listed so far – that is the only one that screams main event at the Apex right now

I think if you don't like this fight, You don't like Middleweight, I think  the main event is very middleweight and it some of the best middleweight has to offer, Also think you should just exclusively watch 170lb and bellow because light heavyweight and heavyweight are just as bad or worst then middleweight

I gotta rewatch that last fight, but I recall being very impressed with Roman’s quick striking & defensive abilities. I thought he improved a ton from that Karl Roberson fight

Seriously man, Joaquim Silva is the next Tsarukyan's opponent? Arman comes from beating Ismagulov clearly and making him consider retirement, Silva comes from a loss against a bottom fighter on the roster and before that he was on a 2-fight losing streak.

The UFC has no complaints about Tsarukyan beyond the time he missed weight against Frevola, but he has fought Frevola on Short Notice, fought every opponent without making excuses for ranking or card position, as well as taking a Fight Night Main Event in short notice together with Gamrot (fight where he also obtained the result of a controversial defeat)

Arman had a loss in a close fight against the current champion Islam in Short Notice in his debut, in my opinion after taking this fight against Silva (the original plan was to Main Event against Moicano, but Renato had an injury), Tsarukyan deserves a fight against a Top 5, but hey Poirier sure hopes to have a rematch against Gaethje so that the winner has a title shot with a streak of 2 victories and fighting once a year and Chandler for the money fight is willing to wait or even if given the chance he would accept a fight against McGregor without USADA testing.
