I'd cut all those that popped with how this tourney format goes, it's such a ruined/cluster**** of a layout and story now. It's one thing just to have random fights which still sucks, but with a tournament esque field, shame on all of those involved who popped, gotta feel for the matchmakers too whom had to scramble.

Wow didn't see Fakhreddine getting caught for the PEDs coming! Definitely turning into a **** show that's for sure. 4 new fighters in the LHW division and all facing off against each other. So assuming Silveira and Hamlet win, then that means there's a perfect opportunity for one of the new four to make the semis.

This is the stage where I like the tournament format because hypothetically say Johnson beats Sanchez at the 2 minute mark of the second round to get 5 points. That would put them in 3rd spot (behind Silveira and Hamlet), but since Wilkinson and Flores are both on 3, one of them is guaranteed to go to at least 6 with a decision win, so drops them to 4th. That means that the next fight between Impa and Caron, they both know they need to get a win quicker than that so they go all out trying to get a finish. Makes the fight more interesting!

Keen to see how it plays out.

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 445 Points   |   Tied for 855th

Wilkinson vs. Flores
Rob Wilkinson, TKO, R1
Wilkinson far too good for Flores you would imagine. Flores looked very hittable when he fought Monte, especially in the first round, before he adjusted his plan to just go for takedowns. Wilkinson has good takedown defence and is a stronger wrestler than Monte so I see him getting an early finish. Either KO or a guillotine.

Khaybulaev vs. Diamond
Movlid Khaybulaev, DEC
New opponent, same result for Movlid.

Moraes vs. Braga
Gabriel Alves Braga, TKO, R3
Before the change in fighter I had hoped Moraes could get an upset, but now he's putting his 6 fight loss streak up against a guy undefeated in 10. Braga for the win here, just a question on whether he Marlon can make it to the final bell.

Kasanganay vs. Caron
Impa Kasanganay, TKO, R2
Why do the PFL keep bringing in middleweights to fight in the LHW division? Caron fought in March at MW, he will be so small. I know Impa was a MW too, but he's at least already had 2 fights at LHW so will have the size advantage. Already has the skill advantage. I see Impa taking the 4th semi final spot on offer.

Johnson vs. Sanchez
Taylor Johnson, DEC
I'll admit I don't know a heap about either of these fighters, but Johnson looked okay in the challenger series. I'll go him by decision, but it's just making up the numbers. Won't make the semis.

Predictions: 11 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 695 Points   |   Tied for 29th with 7 others

Wilkinson vs. Flores
Rob Wilkinson, TKO, R1
Flores struggled to beat Delan monte who is utter garbage, Wilkinson should committ a murder in the smart cage. I was definitely wrong about him, he’s evolved into an incredibly scary fighter. Could probably contend in the ufc. Wilkinson has fixed his cardio, learned some wrestling, and can push an absurd pace without slowing down. Don’t see him losing for a long time

Khaybulaev vs. Diamond
Movlid Khaybulaev, DEC
I forgot Diamond even existed. At least he’s a wrestler so maybe he can create some scrambles. Either way, this is going to be another boring & dominant movlid performance

Moraes vs. Braga
Gabriel Alves Braga, TKO, R3
Just when I thought Marlon was getting a fight to stop his L streak, he then gets a much harder fightđŸ€Ł I do have to say tho, as high as I am on Braga, he is still relatively green. His last fight was incredibly close, but he toughed it out and found a way to win. Braga has a super well rounded skillset & doesn’t appear to have many holes. One thing I don’t like about him is lack of power. However, against the ghost of Marlon he should be able to get s finish here. I do worry that he could struggle early on since he’s a little green & never fought someone like this. However, just can’t trust Marlon anymore, he’s beyond washed & honestly it’s painful to see him in there nowadays

Kasanganay vs. Caron
Impa Kasanganay, TKO, R1
I’m still not a fan of impa at 205, but he is talented enough to finish these bums with ease. When he makes it to playoffs, then it’s probably safe to start fading him

Johnson vs. Sanchez
Andrew Sanchez, DEC
Definitely one of the more interesting fights on the card. Johnson is a fast starter but a ****** fighter. He tends to gas after the first. Now, sanchez is also a gasser, but he’s got two good rounds then death gasses in the third. For those first two, he is really really good. Striking is super powerful & he is a fantastic wrestler. Short notice is a little concerning, but I also think 205 is better for him since he doesn’t cut as much weight + Johnson is also a mw so it’s not like he’s giving up any crazy advantages

Montes vs. Hester
Abby Montes, TKO, R2
Good to see they pulled a soccer mom off the street to get montes a win

Pergande vs. Bashir
Alexei Pergande, SUB, R2
Idk how this guy is but it’s clear pfl likes him

Loughnane vs. Pinedo
Brendan Loughnane, DEC
Brendan is probably going to be back in the finals

Wilkinson vs. Flores
Rob Wilkinson, TKO, R1
Gonna be brutal, Wilkinson has been destroying guys since leaving the MW of UFC

Khaybulaev vs. Diamond
Movlid Khaybulaev, DEC
Movlid is gonna do what he's been doing, just a new face for him to dominate

Wade vs. Kudo
Chris Wade, DEC
Can't believe that Wade's and even Bubba's fights are on the prelims

Jenkins vs. Jo
Bubba Jenkins, DEC
Bubba going to the semis, but can't believe he's stuck on the prelims

Moraes vs. Braga
Gabriel Alves Braga, TKO, R1
Marlon is being fed to the young hungry lion again. He still has name value but I'm not sure how much longer he's gonna have that.

Kasanganay vs. Caron
Impa Kasanganay, TKO, R2
Impa has looked pretty good at LHW

Moraes vs. Braga
Gabriel Alves Braga, TKO, R1
The saddest thing about Moraes, is that his skills are still elite, it's just that his chin is completely gone at this point, and while I'm not familiar with Braga, his 10-0 reccord with a few knockouts is enough to pick him without a doubt, considering the terrifying KO losing streak of Moraes. He had a very decent career with some all time great KO win vs Sterling, and memorable back and forth fights vs Merab and Cejudo (one leg kick away from winning the belt). I wish he was able to just be proud of his accomplishments and stop before it's too late.

Oh damn! I know I'm late to the party but that is a crazy amount of drug failures for one card! Maybe all these MWs felt like they needed mass fast to fight at LHW.

I have zero surprise about Will Fleury. He looked like an absolute gorilla in there. Even compared to his Bellator showings.

Khaybulaev vs. Diamond
Movlid Khaybulaev, DEC
Diamond is decent and I'm glad he's getting active in PFL as he's not getting any younger. But this is obviously a rough matchup for anyone.

Johnson vs. Sanchez
Andrew Sanchez, DEC
Will be interesting to see if either one has improved their cardio. I see potential for Johnson here, he is big and strong and fought decent guys in Bellator. He can also be dangerous for a wrestler like Sanchez with his leg locks, but this Sanchez has faced the better guys and might be more well rounded. Idk about Johnson's standup but Sanchez's is at least ok.

It's crazy that the only man to finish Aljo with easily one of the most brutal knockouts I've seen live, 7 fight losing streak and he's still pushing it? Why? Just become a coach, train the youth, I mean I've never heard of such a skilled fighter with high level skills going 0-7 with all being by TKO.

He either needs the money or just cant let it go. Is sad to see Marlon nowdays he's not even that old only 35 but it looks like he's 41 his chin is completely gone, after his fight against Sheymon that he did everything right was up 2 rounds but one clean shot and it was over after this his team and family should have made him retire and PFL is dirty too for bringing him back.
