no I wouldn't say any of them are locks, that post was more about how the UFC is finally returning back to normalized odds with actual value in them instead of crazy stuff like gilbert at ~1.20, moises at ~1.20, nunes at ~1.15, basharat at ~1.25 etc etc
3 of the guys I'm most confident in on this card are Muniz, Suarez and Solecki and then a step below Aliev, InnerG and Malott. I will be watching tape in the next couple of days and maybe even type a post about one or more about those fighters but yeah, there's no actual full on lock on this card, just really confident in Muniz, Solecki and Suarez but not to the point I would call them locks

Nah it's just him having a mental breakdown. I would be more worried if Mezzor was putting a curse on me because that's what he does to every fighter he picks, and we have all seen what happens to them 😆

What is the public opinion on Mayes vs Sakai, I feel like that bout is a Pandora’s box.

Jrey is like the Nate Diaz of Tap, minus the chin and mediocre fighting skills

Only reason why I switched to Mayes is because I remembered how he put that dude in north-south and proceeded to face**** him on live television

What are your honest thoughts on the Leavitt/Martinez matchup? I think if Leavitt gets a takedown at any point in the match it’s a wrap for Martinez. Also I can’t believe Leavitt is now at dog odds, don’t see why the line shifted towards Martinez, dude is not good at all.

@Zenith maybe hedge with some unders or something, Peek did look vulnerable against the guy he beat in the Contender Series, so it's possible he gets KO'd.
Don't see why Leavitt loses to Martinez, feels like this is the type of opponent he pulls some of his silly **** on. I mean Martinez went life and death with Jacob Rosales, so I can't see him lasting very long.

I just can’t bring myself to pick mayes. He had that Hamdy fight in the bag and gave it away. He tripped over his own feet and Hamdy rembered he was an Olympic wrestler and started using it. His fight iq is nonexistent

This is a fight to get Leavitt on the right track. Martinez’s ground game is severely lacking where Leavitt also happens to be very solid at. He’s gonna catch him with a nice sub at some point in the first 2 rounds imo

Hamdy was on steroids when he foight Mayes and still barely beat him. no way I can Sakaii after watching his 4 recent fights. He’s terrible on the ground, slow strikes and is only effective from the clinch. Mayes is a gift at this price.

You need to keep in mind that Hamdy had like 4 fights and doesn't know how to strike, and that Mayes also pulled side control against him.
Anybody gambling on the typical dog**** HW fight of the card is crazy. Sakai is in a rut and Mayes is pretty ****, don't touch them.

I think the Monkey King takes it.
Reasons being that though his striking is awful he is tough (though he doesn't look it) and is unlikely to get KOd.
While Martinez can defend takedowns, Leavitt's takedowns are different and not really the traditional type. And he chains them well. I expect Martinez to stuff a few but at some point to go down. And when he is down I think Leavitt subs him.
I don't want to see that ugly ass tweaking any more, but we may have to put up with it again

Also I just don't see the relevance of the Hamdy fight to this one. It's nothing alike.
Sakai has been knocked out 4 times in a row. 4 times!!! And his takedown defence is ass. And he is sooo slooww
And people on here are still making him the favourite over a big, tough opponent with power and better wrestling, just because he list to an Olympic level wrestler who was juiced to the gills last fight? Makes no sense to me
