Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 5 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 55th

Neal vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R2
Shavkat future champion. That's all

Soriano vs. Kopylov
Punahele Soriano, DEC
Puna better get his head out of his ass and use that thing on his shoulders that is not just for blocking punches. It's called a head. Use it. And wrestle

Ige vs. Jackson
Damon Jackson, DEC
I'm done doubting that skinny **** Jackson. This rat tanked my Sabatello parlays. So now I have to pick him even though I hate him

Nascimento vs. Hernandez
Allan Nascimento, DEC
Nascimento is really good

Vieira vs. Pennington
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Who is the least worst fighter of these two? They are both stinky but I will take the juiced up Brazilian

Argueta vs. Dulgarian
Daniel Argueta, DEC
I don't recognise either if these fighters but always fade the fighter with 2 ring girls in his profile picture. He is fighting to get *****

Morales vs. Rębecki
Mateusz Rębecki, DEC
Morales has been a dissapoinment. And Rebecki is good. This fights gonna hit the ground

Nurmagomedov vs. Barcelos
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Cousin Umar soon to get another belt for the Dags

Razak Alhassan vs. Ribeiro
Abdul Razak Alhassan, TKO, R1
Ribeiro is ****. Well they are both **** but I will take Al Hassans power, judo and durability

Flick vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, TKO, R2
I hope this fool actually fights this time

Mendonça vs. Basharat
Javid Basharat, DEC
The new order

Gastelum vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, DEC
Just dropping my picks early as this card is so easy to predict it doesn’t even need any research. The bookies made a new year resolution to ban me, Bananas and Andrew but it didn't work. Just like Fatselum's game won't work against Imavov. At this point in his career Fatselum will be defeated by anything that he can't eat, and Imavov will give him indigestion

Weird pick but I have my eye on Argueta. His opponent comes from James Krause’s camp, which is a massive cluster**** of a situation to be coming into a fight with, but I also found myself more impressed with Argueta’s style. He’s got impressive wrestling strength and is endlessly aggressive. My main worry with him is that he tends to get too confident in top position and gets swept or reversed easily as a result. Very peculiar setback.

Reflection for the new year

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 5 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 55th

I've rewatched the Strickland/Cannonier fight and its clear Strickland won.

Him losing cost me about 30k in profits. It's fine, I made money on this card and I don't need this but it's still annoying AF.

How can 3 judges have the exact same scorecard but for different fighters. On a main card. On the main event of thr last card of the year. It's either pure incompetence or pure corruption. Neither excusable.

I've reached a point financially with my betting that I don't need to do it any more for the income. I've made enough to settle right now. But I enjoy it. A lot. And I'm damn good at it.

But if there are no changes to the judges and the scoring systems by next year I'm out. I have better things to put my money into. That don't depend on 3 blind fools or 3 criminals to decide if I get a return on my money or not.

MMA judging is the worst in any sport, including boxing. Shambolic. Disgusting. And I don't need to be part of it anymore.

I'm hoping things change by next year. But I won't hold my breath
Especially as the UFC seems super cool with all of this.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 548th

Gastelum vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, DEC
Imavov is better everywhere and it’s not even funny. He’s also got a gigantic size advantage too. BUT my one concern is that this is a main event. Imavov should totally win this but if he rushes a finish or Kevin brings the fighth to him I could see him gassing out. Kelvin really needs to go to 170 but he lacks discipline

Neal vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, TKO, R2
Neal is on a nice streak and is a dog but Shavkat is just on another level. I worry about his lack of head movement against a chin cracker like neal, but Shavkat is on another level

Soriano vs. Kopylov
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R2
Kopylov honestly isn’t terrible but he has no ground game and just doesn’t throw any volume until round 3. Puna could win with one takedown but probably just wins off of activity

Ige vs. Jackson
Dan Ige, TKO, R3
I really feel like ige should sleep jackson but jackson has been hot recently. Ige has shown pretty **** tdd so I could see him getting g outgrappled but he’s too tough to be finished. I could see him gassing out jackson and finishing him late as well

Nascimento vs. Hernandez
Allan Nascimento, DEC
Honestly I Think this might be closer than I originally thought because Hernandez is a great striker but he’s not nearly as good of a grappler as nascimento. I thjnk nascimento is very good

Vieira vs. Pennington
Raquel Pennington, DEC
Fun fact! Viera has not beaten anyone under the age of 35 since 2017

Argueta vs. Dulgarian
Daniel Argueta, TKO, R2
Both very similar fighters; both pressure wrestlers with meh striking. Argueta is much more proven everywhere; cardio, competition, etc. so I’m confident in him. He was lfa champ and dulgarian is fighting bus drivers

Morales vs. Rębecki
Mateusz Rębecki, SUB, R2
This is gonna be just like JSP vs morales. Poor guy getting three tough fights in a row

Nurmagomedov vs. Barcelos
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Raoni is so talented but age is catching up with him. He was a serious dark horse but injuries and cancellations prevented him from fighting top guys. Umar is on another level. Raoni should be able to test him tho

Razak Alhassan vs. Ribeiro
Abdul Razak Alhassan, TKO, R1
I might regret this one since alhassan has burned me a million times before but honestly if he’s fighting a guy who won’t take him down I really like his chances here. Ribiero is really bad and only wins fights because of his crazy power. No jab or any setup just wings hooks wildly. I think alhassan can sleep him but he’s washed af so who knows; great matchmaking thon

Flick vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, TKO, R1
InnerG has had a really tough first two fights in the ufc but I think he will shine here. His striking is levels above flicks

Mendonça vs. Basharat
Javid Basharat, TKO, R2
Cruel matchmaking. Mendonca looks like he will be solid but he’s facing a serious problem. Don’t understand this matchmaking. Javid is right outside the top 15

@rah yeah that’s what’s worrying me. I could very easily see a world where imavov beats the shut out of Kelvin and just gets tired from him being a punching bag. Gastelum is way tougher than Buckley

Will update after I drop my bets.
