Paul vs. Silva
Jake Paul, TKO, R4
The sad reality is that Paul can hit damn hard, and Silva is 47. Everyone is letting their hatred of Paul cloud their judgment. He will knock Silva out. Like I said, it will suck to watch but it's reality. I love what Silva has done in MMA and he is one of my favorite fighters to study striking wise but Jake is just too young and powerful.

Paul vs. Silva
Jake Paul
Don't you ever think about putting money on Anderson Silva. Jake Paul is not stupid enough to take this fight. Anderson Silva is running out of money and they are definitely going to set-up this fight to make him lose by paying him money. Jake Paul is known for putting weird things in his contract like not allowing the opponent to KO. If they KO him, they lose the money. Even if they don't rig the fight, Anderson Silva is still an old MMA veteran and not a boxer. That's fine if you want to lose the money, put it on Anderson Silva but an intelligent guy knows that this is a 100% guaranteed victory for Jake Paul.

I'm sorry but if you legitimately think that Jake Paul ever had stuff in his contract regarding a no knockout clause or any other shenanigans then you either don't understand how fight sanctioning and processes actually work or are an absolute idiot.

1.  If that was in the contract the fight wouldn't be sanctioned.

2.  The only source for that rumor was Dillon Danis.  A guy who has 0 to do with any of Jake's fights or his contracts and has been beefing with Jake for like 2 years trying to get him to fight him.

This isn't the 70s anymore.  No one is rigging fights on high profile events.  There are way too many eyes on it and way too many people would have to keep a secret.  Fighters aren't risking jail time, promoters and broadcasters aren't risking their licenses, and commissions aren't risking their sanctioning abilities.

Yeah, I don't like Jake Paul either, and he's not Mike Tyson at all, but the guy is very dedicated, hits pretty hard and is naturally tough.

But mostly, he's a very cleaver man, who selects his opponents perfectly: legendary fighters who are not too far removed from their prime but already fading bad like Askren, Woodley (he wanted one eyed Bisping as well) or the bloody can crushing cousin of a legendary boxer in the young Fury.

Anderson Silva might be his toughest test to date, but it's still a winnable fight for any young athletic guy who trains seriously.

Even if he loses, there is no shame here because Anderson Silva proved himself legit in boxing with his win over Chavez junior.
Win-win for Paul, and he can go box Nate Diaz after Diaz for a huge show.

I really hope he loses one day, but as long as the old fading legends are looking for a last big payday he will probably continue his sad old men mauling boxing career until he gets his graal (Conor McGregor, who will be so fat and undedicated by then than he will probably get smashed too).

I think the only way Jake Paul can win is if the fight is a work.

I mean Jake Paul has been surrounding himself with a lot of good boxers, a lot of people are interested in him for the wrong reasons. He's obviously picking, he's choosing very wisely who he fights. Anderson Silva is 47, the fight with Uriah he looked very slow and Uriah, no offense but you do not wanna get TKO'd by a guy like Uriah.

That said, Silva has obviously much better boxing, but his chin worries me. It's easy to look good against Ortiz and whoever Machado was. Beating Chavez Jr. who has been in there with the likes of Sergio Martinez and Canelo Alvarez is impressive though also considering Chavez Jr. was only around 35-36 for the fight.

Silva is one of the best at keeping distance and landing straight powerful shots, he'll use his jab to keep the distance and hopefully he'll fight smart, and not let Jake get close to him. But if Jake lands, it's gonna be night night for Silva, but I also believe Silva even being more at a disadvantage chin wise, could easily sleep Jake Paul cause he's still got the skills and power to.

Rooting for Silva, I believe if he fights smart he wins, no showboating, nothing. Fight smart and knock this young guy out and give us another highlight, ANDERSON!
