I feel like we didn't learn anything new about Neal. I need to see him vs a rangier distance striker and see if he has learned to cut the cage or attack the body/legs or wrestle. Anything except chase them around in a circle like he did vs Thompson.

Luque should take a fairly long break imo, once the chin starts to go that's your only small hope of recovering some of it.

Well that fight didn't turn out the way I liked. But it answered some questions I had about Geoff Neal. 
I love Luque but he needs to quit absorbing this damage like he does. He just can't absorb it like he used to.

sad because starting the third round it seemed like Luque could turn the fight around. Luque's value in his fighting style was being able to take a large number of strikes and at the same time capitalize on his KO power and his Anaconda/D'Arce Choke, but after being badly hurt during the fight (for most of the first round and in the final moment of the third round) I doubt that he can fight in the same way against strikes like Li Jingliang or other good hitters
