Yeah, and UFC is very slow with straight up signings while dwcs is happening.
I also wonder if we will have another bunch of cuts till dwcs starts. Kamuela Kirk is released I assume he’s not the only one.

They’ve slowly been releasing people the past 2-3 months. Like sometimes 1 person but also 6-7 at a time. I think they’re gonna just keep trickling it out instead of doing a massive dump

I also think a lot of people on the roster who have 1 figbt left/1 fight from being cut will get fed to the dwcs signees

You can link the post if you want to, outside the russian area (including countries like Kazakhstan) there isn´t a lot. Sazhiniani, Van der Merckt, Erslan and not a lot more.

Kazakhstan doesn't count. They've veen on a Kazakh signing spree lately including Shavkats sister on DWCS. So someone like Diyar Nurgozhay is fair game still.

There are slo plenty more if we start counting Russians as well. With UFC liking to please the Abu Dhabi rich people, it wouldn't surprise me to see a few more Russian/Dagestan LHWs show up. They already signed Shara Bullet despite his controversial background.

Miguel Porto (4-1) the guy who just beat Rafael Tobias (another good prospect) probably needs a few more fights so a development deal would be good plus he's still only 26 years old.

Also panferov and byfield are really bad. They fit the bill of dwcs guys but they would likely be winless in the ufc

Agreed on tha but they have winning records, and pitting them on DWCS first would be the logical next step to see who is better. Not everybody is gonna be a world beater.

Connor matthews posted he has fight news coming soon. He could be jair farias’s opponent. Would make sense given that Dana went to go see matthews at looking for a fight. I don’t imagine he would go and not give the guy another dwcs shot. Also there were no other 145ers added at the same time as jair so it’s possible he’s fighting a returning guy

That 5-0 guy beat a slew of dudes with either 0 wins or losing records, holy ****. I haven't been that impressed with Laramie and think there's better Flyweights to sign but he's Canadian and will probably get a spot.
