Bro that is a good omen for me. I need some good luck after my last few cards. Really glad I have the same picks as you! Hope its a good week for both of us!

I do think however that Morozov is better than Paiva, better wrestling and striking and probably better grappling too. His gas tank is better I think (though need to watch tape to confirm) and his main worry is his chin, but I don't think Paiva has the power to take advantage.

There are a few things I need to look into before I lock in my final pick, Paiva used to be a flyweight and is now a BW. Does this mean he is faster than Morozov? Or does this mean he could gas more with the extra weight and does Morozov being the natural BW give him more wrestling edge?

Also this is likely to go to decision. Who will likely do more damage? I think Morozov.

One more thing, perhaps a bit of a conspiracy theory here but I think Paiva is at Team Alpha Male and we know that Uriah Faber has a lot of influence in Vegas. Could that affect the score cards. Not sure about that one but it seems that TAM fighters win an awful lot of decisions.

Makes zero sense to me. Also maybe I am biased because I really like Santino De Franco, but being at Fight Ready is a super big advantage in my mind.

Then again from recent past experience, when we disagree on a pick you usually get it right. So I need to dig into this a bit more lol

Piava is my least confident pick I'm just going with my gut. Something I don't like about morozov is it seems whenever he faces adversity he doesn't seem to weather the storm or tough it out. I think piava is tougher bigger & younger but again I'm not confident haha

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 135th

Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot
Arman Tsarukyan, DEC
More skilled and cleaner striking. Gamrot has been boosted to this position. Tsarukyan has climbed mountains to get here.

Magny vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, TKO, R1
SAVAGE!

Parisian vs. Baudot
Josh Parisian, DEC
???????

Moisés vs. Giagos
Thiago Moisés, SUB, R2
Moises is better on the ground. I worry that his striking will be his Downfall in this one.

Nurmagomedov vs. Maness
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Omar continues his dominance over mid tier competition.

Curtis vs. Vieira
Chris Curtis, TKO, R1
If Viera cant hold him down for 3 rounds, then Viera is screwed!

Nchukwi vs. Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R2
Ulberg's reach will be the x-factor.

Brown vs. Nuerdanbieke
TJ Brown, DEC
Relentless takedowns and heavy top pressure.

Paiva vs. Morozov
Sergey Morozov, DEC
This ones a toss up, but I favor Morozov being the more polished fighter.

Durden vs. Buys
Cody Durden, SUB, R1
Cody's constant pressure and takedowns will be the end of poor JP. This guy cant catch a break!

Bautista vs. Kelleher
Mario Bautista, TKO, R1
Age really starting to show on Kelleher.

Yu Frey vs. Demopoulos
Vanessa Demopoulos, DEC
Demopoulos continued success against the aging Frey.

I'm thinking of doing a parlay shavkat & Tsarukyan. Might add Curtis & nurmagomedov but I'll have to see how much bigger Viera is to Curtis he always has a chance for an early sub & nurmagomedov is -900 so there doesn't seem to be a point. Who are yall thinking of putting in a parlay?

UFC have just posted Gamrot's second of 4 fights.

I'd rather see his debut about Guram but they dont post fights that were lost.

High

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 1190th

I have nothing against betting Demopollus, Jihn Yu Frey is bad, Vanessa Demopulus most likely be worst, But one is -300 and the other is +230, One thing I know about low skilled women MMA fights is that it 50-50 and very volitile, Like last week, people were so confident in Gloria De Paula despite her being 6-4, 1-2 in the UFC and got KO'd in under a minute by Cheyene Vlismas, I didn't get what people saw in her, Or what made her so much better in Maria Oliveira

Also, never ever, Put favourtes in low level women fight in parley, Worst mistake you can do

Once again

You guys trying to analyze everything... blah blah blah...
bets - underdogs - fades - cans - tapes... etc... etc... etc... !

It's way too simple...

I like to make my picks on Tapology, and quite often i like to support the fighters that i like... ! For example i always pick up TrailBlazer, and probably i will never pick up Adesanya or 10'Malley !

( And of course it's way to easy to give my 5 - 10 dislikes, other than to understand what im saying... ! )

But it low skill women MMA , so anything can happen, I'm on Frey and I don't even know if I bet Demopolus, All I know is betting on favourites and especially huge favourites on fights like this is the best way to ruin your night with losing parley

And I never fault anyone for betting the underdog, As underdog wins all the time in fight like these

I think it will. This stretch of cards from volk/bigi boi to the end of the summer is insane. I’m pretty sure the lackluster start to the year was because they’re saving all the talent for this summer
