I'm from Australia and I enjoy watching people beat one another up for money.

1) Born in Oakland, CA, USA.  Raised in Indiana.  Live in Chicago, IL, USA.

2) It was kind of a low point in my life, c. 2012.  I was flipping through channels.  I saw a UFC fight.  I don't remember which one, but I was hooked by the strategy of having multiple martial arts traditions in play at once.  It reminded me of chess.  I started listening to The MMA Hour.  I find the stories of the fighters inspiring.  I work in healthcare/medical science, and I draw a lot of inspiration for fighting disease.

I'm from Croydon, England (UK) and I first got into MMA in about 2012 ish when I was round one of my mates houses and he had an MMA event playing on TV (can't remember whether it was a Cage Warriors or UCMMA event but I remember just being glued to it trying to figure out what was going on in terms of the fighting styles. For the next few years I followed MMA casually only really watching the major promotions like UFC, Bellator, Cage Warriors and KSW with the exception being UCMMA and it's feeder promotion WCMMA as they were often shown for free on the TV Chanel London Live so it was convenient to watch them. I'd say I've been following it more seriously since about 2016/2017 ish (by that I mean watching as much MMA as I did football (soccer)) and discovered Tapology in 2020 during the Covid lockdowns when I was board and wanted to see if there was some kind of MMA predictions tournament website like an MMA version of fantasy football if you will and this has basically been the main place where I hang out and talk about MMA since.

I’m born and raised in the bad parts of North Carolina, and I don’t say that to sound cool, the traffic and shootouts here absolutely suck. I got into MMA in my teens but I didn’t really delve into the depths of the sport until I saw Gunnar Nelson fight one day and was in awe of how cool he was. I started practicing MMA when I turned 18 and been pursuing getting a legitimate career ever since. Used to have friends to watch and talk with during events but since Covid most of us had to distance ourselves, so I came here in hopes of simulating the feeling of watching an event with friends.

Born in Harlem raised in Southern California.

Honestly not sure when I first heard of MMA. I had heard of the UFC before but I didn't really pay attention to UFC religiously until UFC 249. Adesanya vs Gastelum got me interested in watching fights. Also listening to DC and Helwani and Believe You Me during the pandemic got me interested in the lore of MMA. Once I discovered Tapology I started paying more attention to non UFC promotions. Never looked back since.

Forgot to say I also watch a ton of MMA on Point videos. That helped me learn about some lore, inside jokes, and older fighters.

Facts! Their Casposa's Corner series is my personal favorite. Its Not Cage Fighting, The Weasle, and Napoleon Blownapart are also really good.

Stephen Terry & Cheeseball

I’m pretty into the MMA analysis channels on YouTube and hope one day I can make my own with legitimate editing instead of me breathing into my PlayStation mic like a ******’ goober while zoomed in, grainy footage of fights play

My personal favorite is fight focus. They do top 10 lists but are light on the commentary, show lots of footage, and usually always have interesting topics. Plus the videos are never longer than 10 minutes so it’s fast to watch
