This is an awkward matchup. You got a grappler who can’t get takedowns worth a ****, against a striker who can’t defend takedowns worth a ****. The vulnerable force vs the movable object is our main event ladies and gentlemen.

Wells is ******

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 839th

Jeremiah’s fighting style is the MMA equivalent of an acid-tripping ‘Bum Fights’ brawler assaulting the KFC cashier over an expired coupon. His style is nastier than a post-workout rimjob in a Walmart parking lot. Wells’ style and it’s success is based on who he’s fighting. And being put up against Means is the worst possible matchup imaginable. Means breathes chaos, Jeremiah trying to unga-bunga Means is like a football quarterback running directly into a blitzkrieg tank complete with machine guns, cannons, flamethrowers and viagra to help him **** himself a little easier. Betting on Jeremiah is like expecting the high-school jock to beat up Leatherface. Jeremiah is gonna be cage-side pavement.

Witt is ******

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 839th

Witt’s chin isn’t glass. Witt’s chin is not weaker than glass. Witt’s chin doesn’t deserve to be involved in the same sentence as glass. Witt’s chin is so brittle and weak, a starving African child would pity it. Witt’s wife cannot sit on his face during sex out of fear it would kill him on impact.

Off topic: what the **** is up with these MMA Nicknames recently? Vanilla Gorilla? Pooh Bear?? Salamander Taint??? I get you want your name to fit your character, but come on, if nicknames were this honest, Cheyenne Buys would change her nickname to ‘Golddigger’, or Julian Marquez have his nickname be ‘Genital Warts’ or Jon Jones changing his name to ‘Wife Beating *************’. ******’ amp up the crowd, not wink and nod to gay little in-jokes.

What was I talking about?

Oh yeah, Witt sucks.

Alvey is surely the most amicable fighter on the UFC roster. If anyone has a soul it’s Smilin’Sam.

I find you erroneous in your assessment sir.

I bid you good day.

Facts lol he has no way to win this fight besides a punchers chance because of hawes poor chin. But even then if he still had ko power he probably would have hurt someone in his last 7 fights lol

That’s because most of his opponents preferred standup fights, and the few exceptions tended to be easy to pressure. Nordine Taleb is an exception but he’s so easy to pressure against the cage he whittled and fell apart under Sean. The minute he gets an opponent who legitimately cups their balls and dives head first into his pelvis, his upright posture will **** him over. Question is: Is Jack the exception to the rule?

No, probably not.

Yeah definitely not lol. Also jack just doesn’t like pressure and Strickland is a super high volume boxer so I think he’s just gonna tee off on him for 5 rounds and maybe get a ko

Any Thoughts on GORE Vs. BATTLE?

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 1970th

I'm going with Gore, but it seems that anyone for Battle thinks he's gonna get the sub.

From his TUF performances, Battle primarily got into heavy grappling exchanges because his opponents kept trying to take him down. Urbina's entire game plan was endless TD attempts.

That said - during Gore Vs. Urbina, Urbina never shot once. Complete 180 degrees. Does Gore have some extensive wrestling experience?

On the feet I was not impressed with Battle's strike technique, it appeared inefficient to me. Gore's striking on the other hand was crisp and powerful.

Anyone want to elaborate in favor of Battle?

Thanks

I’m with you on gore. My only worry is his tdd because battle is obviously going to want to shoot. I feel like it’s pretty solid just because of how physically strong gore is; dude is a specimen. Seeing battle get hurt bad by Urbina makes me pretty confident that gore can ko him. The dude has serious power and those leg kicks are gonna (hopefully) hurt battles leg and prevent him from effectively going to shoot.

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 1970th

I as well am concerned about the shots, given there isn't much tape on Gore stuffing TDs, but at the same time I would have expected Battle to shoot more often if his SUB game is really a strong area of his no?

(I understand not shooting TDs vs. Petroski of course)

Yeah I definitely agree. It’s just a worry for me because of the lack of tape. Who knows tho, gore could come out and have flawless tdd or it could be as bad as Kevin hollands lol. But I feel like the power on the feet and the leg kicks are gonna win him the fight. When I watched him fight urbina on TUF I could have sworn he knocked him down like 4 times. Also he does have an rnc on his record so I feel like he at least has some knowledge on the ground but even then we don’t know the extent of his grappling. And again who knows? Maybe battle is content to just stand with him the whole time
