Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 736th

Mousasi vs. Salter
Gegard Mousasi, SUB, R3
Salter is a great grinder but he's content to let people get up, trade with them for a bit, then shoot another takedown. That isn't going to be enough to beat Mousasi, I think he'll wear out and take a lot of damage on his way to another RNC loss.

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
Andrey Koreshkov, SUB, R2
club n sub

Magomedov vs. Stots
Magomed Magomedov, TKO, R2
This is an incredible matchup, this could be a main event fight of its own and I think I'm more excited for this than anything else on this card.

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
Ty Gwerder, TKO, R1
Bestaev gets blasted by anyone with any skill at all, he's in for a rough night

Sorenson vs. Samad
Pam Sorenson, DEC
It took Felicia Spencer 4 rounds to beat Sorenson, that's impressive enough for me.

Mendoza vs. McNeil
Jon McNeil, SUB, R2
I only see one dude with cauliflower ear, and yet 90% are picking against him. This is low level mma, gotta pick the guy who's spent more time on the ground.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 920th

Mousasi vs. Salter
Gegard Mousasi, DEC
Mousasi has not been in his best form against Machida and Lima, but at this point in his career Mousasi is interested in victory and not so much about how convincing that result is. Salter is a dangerous submission artist but Mousasi with his striking and wrestling skills has the ability to work the distance. I doubt that Salter can control the ground in the way that Lovato Jr. managed to do against Mousasi in some moments of that fight (especially in the last round). I know it may not be a very interesting fight, but I see Mousasi winning the easy way by UD. (although he may surprise me and get a TKO and dominant performance as against Rory MacDonald).

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
Andrey Koreshkov, TKO, R2
Sabah Homasi is a fighter with good striking and great level of wrestling, but simply Koreshkov is a superior fighter in every sense of the fight, I see the Russian getting the finish in the second half of the fight. I think that after this fight it would be interesting to see Koreshkov against MVP (if it is true that with Lima vs. MVP 2 the MVP vs. top 10 fights in the category begin, now that the rankings in Bellator exist). and After facing Paul Daley and Koreshkov in Back to Back it would be nice to see Homasi up against less tough competition for his next fight.

Sorenson vs. Samad
Roberta Paim Samad, TKO, R2
Sorenson may have more experience on paper, but I see Samad taking advantage of the huge reach difference, dominating the fight with jabs and straight shots. In the second round Sorenson will probably desperately try to find the takedown which usually ends in TKO via ground and Pound.

This card is absolutely awful for a supposed top tier org... Mowry/Golm was a nice fight, but even if that hadn't been scrapped, still was beyond weak. Now add in the injuries and covid protocol scraps, this is just a sad card.

We're too spoiled these days. Remember the days of 8-10 UFC cards a year. Now we get high level fights every weekend across the world. Card isn't the greatest sure. But hey its 8 fights on a Friday night. I'll be watching

Trendy New Predictions

Predictions: 4 of 6 Winners, 2 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 920th

Mousasi vs. Salter
I finger Gegard Mousasi at -380. He has a militant butterfly sweep. Mousasi will likely rattle the masterpiece.

Magomedov vs. Stots
I feel disposed to Magomed Magomedov at -550. He has a leaden mindset. Magomedov could manipulate the corner man.

Ruiz vs. Glossner
I adopt Jeffrey Glossner at -190. He has a lascivious full nelson and a judicious back mount. Glossner should damage the cutman.

Franklin vs. Cummings
I tap Davion Franklin at -250. He has a militant mountain bomb. Franklin might fight the natural order. Acertar na mosca!

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
I love Ty Gwerder at -275. He has a twisted suplex. Gwerder might perform the cake.

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
I believe in Andrey Koreshkov at -400. He has a hypersonic hane goshi. Koreshkov might land the feat. Believe it!

My Predictions for Bellator 264

Predictions: 5 of 8 Winners, 3 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 235th

Picked all 8 favorites , but I’m fairly confident in every pick… Actually think Salter has a good shot to wrestle**** in route to a decision victory but we’ll see. Also not confident in Mendoza or Glossner much cuz it’s such low level/entry level MMA, but regardless they both should win. Magomedov vs Stots + Koreshkov vs Homasi will be fun as ****. Only 8 fights tonight but I can’t complain , got a stacked PFL playoff card too!

^^^ Yeah, I took all the favorites too. Realized it after I hit send. It’s just the most likely scenario I see, so I’ll likely lose every fight.
