To be fair, the calf kick thing is so weird. How effective it is vs how long it took anyone to try it. It's like they just discovered the three point shot in basketball by accident.

Not watching the event but reading comments. Honestly I have respect for Rogan, but him calling himself MMA maniac is disrespectful to most of the people on this page. I mean, he is slowly but surely heading towards casual with his biased commentary and always repeated thoughts like calf kicks being effective, Volkanovski walking around 230lb as rugby player...

Yeah, with DC, Bisping, formerly Dan Hardy, Paul Felder, Anik, I've sort of lost my interest in Rogan on the mic. There are guys doing better breakdowns in a more entertaining way.

Ben Henderson was very effective at low kicks first

@Erison - Bendo was the one to do it the most as part of his arsenal.  I remember he had several sweeps and low kicks to the calf and ankle.  I remember the one I liked the most was his back spinning heel sweep kick. It worked about 80% of the time... tripping his opponent

To be honest I don’t like Cormier either. His commentating is very bias to fighters he knows or to fighters that are going for takedowns. Even unsuccessfully
