I agree with you about Lewis always beating Tyson! Maybe 21,22 year old Tyson, but even then I think Teddy Atlas is pretty spot on in his assessment of Tyson in that whenever he was forced into a fight he lost. He was a specimen, maybe the most athletic freak ever in those years up until his early 20's. Tyson is a weird 1 because he was so brutal but also showed weakness and lack of control. Unless Tyson got inside and 1 punch KO'd Lewis he wouldn't win, Lewis ramrod jab would bust up and the overhand thudding rights would finish the job in the late to mid rounds, that's what I think anyway!
If Joshua couldn't take it he would've stayed on the floor against Klitschko or not got up 4x vs Ruiz don't you think?

Also, I am not backing Joshua because he is from the UK. I class myself as Scottish and have no loyalty to the Union, not in a real political way I just feel Scottish! Joshua is a London/Nigerian! I don't really go for the supporting your hometown/countryman blindly, I mean I ******* can't stand Paul Craig or his ******** teammate :Bungard and they are about as stereotypical Scottish as you'll get in MMA for an example of what I mean! I just like who I like.

That, and obligatory 'styles make fights'. Ruiz just has what Joshua can't deal with; fast hands, good pressure, great chin/ recovery, nasty, nasty short left hook. It's not like Joshua didn't try to hide behind his jab, either. He did. Ruiz just marched him down and forced him to trade in his distance. You can't win a fight with JUST a jab if the guy your fighting is willing to walk through it and beat you up, and Ruiz is simply faster in the phone booth--and Joshua doesn't seem to understand how to read hooks.
I do not like Joshua in the rematch. I think this fight will always be a battle of chins and Joshua will those that battle 7/10 times.
Not sure when it goes live for me, I'll try and watch while it's happening though.

Anthony Joshua, DEC
This Fight has racked my brain sooooo ******* badly, I've gotta headache from the brain overload. I was initially backing Ruiz for the win, again. By KO, again. But Ruiz was supposed to be stripping WEIGHT, but instead, weighed in at a huuuuuge 283lbs. Like 15lbs more than in the 1st fight, while Joshua shed 10+lbs and weighed-in at 237lbs. Annnd that's problematic for me. Ruiz absolutely could crack Joshua again. Because I don't consider his win "a fluke" like everyone's been *****ing about. A fluke happens once. He caught AJ how many times? 4x? 4 times is a fluke? Noooope. My ONLY question is, did Joshua work on his game enough to fix the flaws? If he did, it should be an easy night at the office. You don't win an Olympic gold medal if you're an incompetent dumbass and lack the heart & mind to adjust and adapt to get better. I honestly feel that Joshua is going to play it safe and smart by staying behind the jab & working on the outside and making it a boxing match for 12 full rounds. I just can't see him getting emotional or over-confident again and getting into another firefight, especially when it didn't work out so well the first time? I hate saying it, but Joshua by decision is my pick. As of RIGHT NOW.

I just seen that weight bud! 280+lbs!!!! Over 20lbs more than last time! So much for Ruiz coming in a little leaner and in better shape. Of course I wasn't expecting a 6-pack, a 2 pack even!!! But for him to so much heavier!? That doesn't seem like it will help Ruiz, it makes me think there is a lot more truth behind the stories of Ruiz living it up since making that massive payday! It's a common thing with fighters who, for the most part, come from poor, working class upbringings and even as they work their way up the ranks they are living pay cheque to pay cheque. Then all of a sudden, BOOM! here's £10 million! And they spend, they spend BIG!!! Its no secret that Ruiz bought a mansion(not so bad) but a lot of BLING!!!! and the parties!
Maybe the weigh in means nothing, but I'm reading that into it.
Joshua looks less bulky, which I feel is a good thing. He says he has cut out the weights and all his training has been boxing, sparring, pads, mitts, bag. That's a great thing!
I'm a bit more confident now!

Michael Hunter, DEC
I see this as Michael Hunter's coming out party. The guy's got the talent to beat a declining (IMO) Povetkin. His lone loss, was to Oleksandr Usyk, and he was one of like 3 guys, that wasn't KO'd by Usyk. That to me, shows some level of skill, because Usyk is a ****-king nightmare of a matchup.

I say Joshua wins easy tomorrow but can't see him beating wilder or fury.

If Joshua defeats Ruiz, he'll never fight Wilder unless it's a mandatory defense.
