OK I already know that if it is at all close Joshua will get it.

Joshua is doing exactly what I said he needed to do to win...trot around behind his jab, tie up whenever Ruiz swarms.
It's boring as **** but it will work.
There's no way this man will beat Wilder. Forget about it. Ruiz is fighting terribly and Joshua still doesn't look great.

lol Joshua is a ****** ***** man. Soon as he gets clipped he clinches up. This is exactly how Floyd is undefeated. It isn't fighting.

Well Joshua did what he needed to do to win, which was go full Floyd Mayweather and run around the ring all night, flicking a jab and clinching whenever he got clipped. Not entertaining, and not fighting.

That wasn't a fight, that was a points exercise. Not interested in watching Joshua fight anyone until it's Wilder, and I won't be.
Ruiz ****** the Dog though by allowing Joshua to prance around all night. He didn't force pocket fighting enough and let Joshua use his range and leverage. Regardless, that was a pathetically lame-ass cheese points performance by Joshua.

My stream died too!!! Was frantically trying to find 1, I did then ny phone battery died, then my ******* Wi-Fi went ti ****!!!!
What a nightmare!!
Managed to watch from about the 5th and Joshua has won every single round bar 1. It hasn't been exciting. Never thought it would to be honesr. But Joshua fought in a style that guaranteed his belts back.
Stick and move, jab a lot and avoid any crazy exchanges even if he thought he hurt him. He stuck to it like a pro! Easy win at least 10 rounds to 2
And for anyone who says Joshuas a ***** who ran all night. Ruiz IS the only 1 with the cuts and marked up face

Mikey he did ******* run all night. He did exactly what I though he would to win. Last time I watch him fight until it's wilder.

Yeah, Ruiz shoulda done something ti change itanf he couldn't. It's all welk and good having great fast combination punches but they're no use when your stuck in the outside. A jab was all Joshua needed to win

And that's why MMA is better than Boxing. Because in boxing, you can win simply by dancing around and playing pattycake against shorter guys and tieing up whenever they start chaining things together. What he just saw was Floyd vs Pacquiao all over again. I don't know what can be done about it, but **** like that will continue as long as the clinch works the way it does.
It's not fighting, it ins't interesting, and it isn't 'intelligent' despite what the commentators say. It's just cheese. If what we just saw was the height of boxing then boxing wouldn't be worth watching at all. Nobody would pay to see that ****.

That's what it is though bud, it's Boxing not Street Fighting. It's about finding a way to land more punches and not take any in return. Sometimes the best way to do that is by switching the other guy off, sometimes it's by picking them off from distance. I prefer the guy who will go out and try to take out his opponent but if you can pick someone off then go ahead, like I said it's up to the other guy to close the distance.
Joshua done what he had to do to get his belts back. Why take any risks? If he lost that fight his career was in ruins!!! People have already written him off after 1 loss, imagine 2 back to back!!!??!!! He'd be classed as "The Biggest BUST/Fraud in Boxing History!" or some other *********. Nah, he done what he had to do to get the win back and get his career back on track.
He'll do the exact same thing to Wilder too you know. So will anyone else who boxes Wilder, it's just Wilder has that 1 great equalizer. But Joshua will likely take the same strategy into a fight with Wilder as he did tonight

@fishrat
True boxing fans (and MMA fans) appreciate precise technique more than brute force.

Tepid what the actual **** are you talking about? What 'True technique' did you just see ? What--running around the cage flicking a jab then getting hit in the pocket and clinching up and forcing the reset? If you think that takes any skill whatsoever when you're twice as tall as your opponent and have a 7 inch reach advantage you're even more ******** than I thought.
That was ********. This is why I stopped seriously watching Boxing the first time. The Maypac fight proved to me the sport is broken and needs to evolve. And that was just proved to me again.
I think from now on I'm just gonna be more selective. Watching horse **** like that just pisses me off. I'm gonna only tune in for guys who turn up to fight and to finish.

If you understood what you were watching, you saw Anthony Joshua put a boxing masterclass on Andy Ruiz.
