It's a very hard fight to call. Belfort has very few recent fights and most of them were quite short. Rumble will have a smaller size advantage than he had at WW but at the same time should have better cardio. I'm still on the fence. Probably will go with Rumble due to his size and wrestling.

Standing up Johnson has a very minimal chance. I think he will be smart like in the Hardy fight. He will hold Vitor down and do damage from the top an probably take a decision.

This fight has thunder and lightning written all over it. Johnson has devastating striking, but it makes me wonder, will his striking has the same devastation at 185 as it does at 170. I'm going with Belfort by just about anything he wants, but you never know, this could be Johnson's coming out party at 185.

The more and more I think about this fight, the more I think that this will be Belfort's fight. Johnson's submission defense is still subpar at best, and many forget that Belfort does have a black belt in BJJ, so if the fight doesn't go the way that Belfort wants it to go on the feet, or if he gets taken down, then he still has the possibility of getting a submission, and if you watch Belfort's fight against Chuck Liddell, he showed some great takedowns in that fight, and everybody knows how tough it is to get Chuck to the ground back in the day, so I see it as Belfort's fight.

I think Rumble will use his wrestling to control this fight and keep it on the ground and either get a TKO late in the 2nd or a UD.

I know Vitor has a black belt in BJJ but he doesn't seem toi really use it and for the most part i would say wrestling beats BJJ in MMA.

@Justynbomar'Wrestling beats BJJ' - I dont think so man, although I definitely think wrestlings more important for TDD and TDs. Lots of BJJ fighters are best of their backs, which is where wrestlers like em to be most of the time.

Well ya i know that alot of BJJ black belts are best of there backs but i would say for the most part a good wrestler beats someone who is good at BJJ in Mixed Martial Arts fights.

And i don't mean all the time just from what i have seen that seems to be the case, which i think some of it has to do with wrestlers usually cutting more weight so they are bigger but ya.
