Yeah but he also has 37 pro fights. Some of those techniques come with experience. No one really knows how to fight out of a choke until they have the squeeze on. Then the panic comes. Learning to remain calm in that situation is a skill. If you get a chance look up the article about Fitch. Apparently in the training rooms and in some fights, he was a legend at fending off the choke.
