I went back all the way to the 20th page and didn't see anyone who started a thread about movies. If there is one, just let this thread sink away into the abyss of thread history, but if not, this is something we can talk about. We've got one for every sport, music, and TV shows. So I figured might as well.

Wizards is a trip. I own that on DVD it's a fond memory from childhood. Love the ending of that film.

Harry Dean Stanton is wickedly underrated as an actor....Just saying.

Character actors often don't get enough credit from audiences. There is a Starz documentary called "The Face is Familar" which talks about character actors which is pretty interesting.

@Nomad you mentioning Harry Dean Stanton, reminded me of how much I love Cool Hand Luke, I gotta watch that this weekend. Already decided I'm watching The Warriors tomorrow too. Probably just do a back-to-back.

I love the warriors, you should try watching movies you haven't seen tomorrow though. I get it though, I often times have a hankering to watch a certain movie, the other night I realized it's been a decade since I've seen the Breakfast club.

Ya I watch a lot of movies just for the sole reason of having never seen them before. However, re-watching is good too. You to pick up on things you may have missed before.

You should use this site - it's a good way of keeping track of movies you've watched.

Nevee cared for the idea to keep track of all the films I have watched and I have no idea why.

Bad ass film that makes these other comic book films look weak and flimsy

Never seen that short but that just made me want to see another Punisher film.I saw the 2004 version in theaters and loved it, now I was 16 back then but I think that film is pretty underrated as far as comic book films go.

I don't really like most of the Marvel movies but that one was decent and I thought Judge Dredd was decent too, loved the 90's one when I was a kid. If you are into comics or wanna test one out the Punisher MAX series is really good.

I really liked the Watchmen movie and Kick-ass... and Sin City too.

I believe everyone is forgetting the best comic movie(s) - Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy

I liked the Thomas Jane Punisher as well. It's a shame that the studio ruined something that could have had legs for a few sequels. They approved a horrible script for that Punisher: War Zone movie and Jane wanted no part of it. I don't blame him at all because that movie was a mess. I've read several interviews with Jane where he states that he'd love to do another Punisher movie as long as it does the character justice, like the 2004 movie and the Dirty Laundry short. I don't know if anyone caught this but, Jane wears a Yankees hat in the Dirty Laundry short. In the Punisher movie he has a line that goes something like "I used to hate it when the Yankees won the series".

Another comic movie that I thought didn't get the love that it deserved was Constantine.

@mmawizard... I'm sure I'm too late but I really liked Edge of Tomorrow, I enjoyed the story and it had good action. I describe it as Ground Hogs Day meets Starship Troopers (except way better acting than starship troopers).

Saw "Words and Pictures" and "Night Moves" both were slow and very meh. Night Moves is trying to be poignant and artsy but it fails for me. It's about a trio of environmentalists who go eco terrorist. A lot of tight close-ups of Jesse Eisenberg and some long nature shots. Limited dialogue and story... It's seems like the type of films critics love but audiences will just snooze through.

"Words and Pictures" is supposed to be an inspirational film about teachers and the arts but it fails to inspire the audience about either art or literature.
