"I was doing this when Chris Weidman was probably getting bullied out of his lunch money in school. He's undefeated, but he's only had nine fights. Listen, the guy's an incredible talent, and he's a great prospect, but he's still young in his career. Weidman's got the youth and potential and all the tools to have a great career. I've got nothing against Chris Weidman. It certainly seems that I do, because of I've been talking a lot of trash about him. I'm just trying to sell myself. I'm trying to provide for myself, and Chris Weidman's a competitor against me. I wish him all the best. But, I think I deserve it, and my time's now. If I've gotta fight Chris Weidman in the meantime? So be it."

I 100% agree with you, Bisping has fought (and done well against) Brian Stann, Mayhem Miller, Chael Sonnen, Rashad Evans, Jorge Rivera, Denis Kang, Wanderlei Silva, Chris Leben and Matt Hamill.

Weidman has foguth (and done well against) Sakara, Tom Lawlor, and an out of shape-returning from injury Mark Munoz.

Massive difference between doing well, and winning. The only person you listed that Bisping legitimately beat, and is a worthy opponent is Brian Stann, Chris Leben.

Weidman is doing to his opponents what Bisping has never done to anyone.

Im tired of people saying bisping could beat silva, if you think that your stupid hes not even that good if he wants to fight silva so bad he should make a statement and he dont do that I kinda hope he does fight silva one day so silva could whop his ass and shut everyone up.

Weidman would win this fight because he is more well rounded. It wouldn't be as easy as he made it look when he fought Maia or Munoz but he would win. It's Weidman's time and his title shot is going to happen sooner or later.

People who claim Bisping as 'not even that good' should stop watching MMA. Period.

Who has Weidman beat? Tom Lawlor, Sakara, and Munoz? Please. Keep hyping the guy up all you want, he is overrated and would get demolished by anyone half as good as Bisping. I hope this fight happens, then Weiman will realize to shut up and stay as a MW gatekeeper. Because WHEN he retires thats what he will be known for.

Someone is letting their fandom blind them. Weidman demolished Munoz and beat Maia pretty handily on a weeks notice. Bisping has a ton of close losses and a win over Stann

Good one, man. Just tell anyone who disagrees with you to stop watching MMA - you sure are wise.

1) Sure, Bisping has more wins than Weidman, but thats like saying a 60 YO man has more wrinkles than a 20 YO. Bisping has been in the UFC way longer than Weidman, yet Weidman, in the few fights he has had, has made x10 the impression on everyone than Bisping has been able to do in years.

2) lets be realistic, Bisping isn't elite. He doesn't beat people in the top. He has lost to henderson, Evans,Sonnen, Silva(A washed up Silva who is 3-7 in the UFC), and pretty much matt Hamill (absolute robbery). He will never get a title shot, because hell never be the #2

I suppose people here are voting either for Obama or Romney. Everyone's talking about who has the better policies and who has more experience. Either way it's a waste of time because both candidates are morally unacceptable and irrelevant to the future.

everything Bisping does Weidman does better. Bisping has no KO power, Weidman has lots of it. Bisping has a weak submission game, Weidman actually has a submission game. Bisping has weak wrestling, Weidman has amazing wrestling. Do I need to say more.
