I am surprised that no one has started this thread yet.
I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.
I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.
So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"
such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport
Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

I forget who it was back in the day but he had a dream the night before defending his belt and he dreamt he killed his opponent so when he wakes up he trys to cancel the fight. The local priest gives him a visit and tells him it was just a dream and convinces him to fight. Sure enough he kills that guy just like the dream. He then donated his next three purses to the guys widow to by a house like they had planned. Unbelievable!

@Zarog well we've still got Mikey vs ESJ to look forward to. That's an absolutely Primo fight. I don't think ESJ has matured yet though and Mikey is straight up too fundamentally good for him, size disadvantaged be damned. I seem to be in the minority in holding that opinion though and full disclosure I'm an atrocious Garcia ****rider so y'know...pinch of salt. It may just look like GGG vs Brook. ESJ is a major talent and a hard hitter to boot, and will outweigh him by around 20lbs on fight night. Garcia has balls of steel for taking it.
