I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.
I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.
So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"
such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport
Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

Last night of Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua live at Wembley Stadium in England in front of 90,000+ people in attendance, has to be one of the best and most entertaining heavyweight championship fights of recent memory. Great action from both fighters, the young buck taking the win but after a hard fought rally from the former champion. Wlad fought hard and not in his traditional, "stab and grab" style, light on his feet and combinations and head movement. Excellent showing. Joshua will take that as a great learning experience and a lesson on how to evolve. And the great thing is, he has time to with his youth.
I honestly wouldn't see Wlad retire after this fight, but I would like him to take a few months off to recover and maybe go after a rematch later.
But during Wlad's rest period, Joshua in my opinion should try going after another belt instead of his idea of going after a crazy and overweight Fury. I can see that Joshua might have avoided Wilder, who was in attendance and tried his hardest to not say his name.
BUT HELL, the Heavyweight division is being talked about again. I AM ECSTATIC for this. This fight what this division as well as boxing needed.
