Benson is a straight up bad ass. I think that he played it safe in Edgar 2 fight. But this fight between Diaz and Bendo will be EPIC. Just like when Bendo and Pettis fought, those two guys tried to kill each other for 5rds. Just to remind u guys Pettis won, and why he hasnt got a title shot doesnt make any sense to me at all. But anyways enough about Pettis. Bendo has never fought anybody like Diaz. Diaz will b n his face for 5rds. My opinion Diaz takes the title by unamious decision!!!

Pettis hasn't gotten a title shot because he lost to Clay Guida and had to start over.  He will get his chance I'm sure.

yes you are right. But I think Pettis coming in with the WEC belt he shouldve got it then. I know losing to Guida put him back a few years on getting a chance at the belt. But i guarantee when his chance comes he takes it!!!

The Edgar/Maynard draw screwed him out of his title shot and held up the division for almost a year.  I hope we get to see Henderson vs Pettis II eventually, whether it's for the belt or not.

This one all comes down to who fights who's fight. Nate Diaz has had problems in the past with big LW and WW wrestlers in the past. Rory MacDonald and Gray Maynard are a couple of examples. Ben Henderson has had problems with dynamic unorthodox strikers. Anthony Pettis is an expample of that. It's not that Nate Diaz is really that unorthodox, but the timing of his striking can be awkward and difficult for fighters to figure out. Both are really good submission fighters, but I think that Diaz has the definitive advantage in the submission department. No matter what this is going to be a great fight. I'll be cheering for Diaz, but I've got a feeling that Henderson will pull this one out by decision.

Bendo should win this pretty handily, IF he can keep his neck free of Nate's arms. Aside from some form of choke I would say he shouldn't face any genuine danger in this match.

@Judo He doesn't have to worry about Nate's stand-up? That's probably Bendo's worst attribute...Nate is gonna pick him apart standing...Ben's only shot is LNP for 5 rounds.

In Nates last fights i havent seen anyway he can win, and he comes out and dominates 
cerrone and miller both 
i thought nate was gonna lose both of those fights, even though i picked him i never thought he would win
and now im thinking the same thing, i dont think Diaz will win but im picking him to anyway, 
so
therefore diaz will dominate

Just my insanely biased opinion.

Those of you that think Diaz should win this have valid enough reasons for believing so, but I am partially biased (toward Bendo AND against Diaz) and I still think Benson is too strong for Nate. I come from a BJJ foundation, which I love because I have seldom been over 150lbs in my life, so normally I would pull for the smaller fighter, but...Benson is a lot smarter and Nick comes off like he would be afraid of fire and grunt his way back to his cave. Being Zen beats 209 attitude.

Benson Henderson is not a good fighter. He lost to Anthony Pettis and c'mon, that dude REALLY can't fight. Pretty sure that LW title is fake too, the real one is currently with Frankie Edgar.
