This is a tough one to call, because on one hand Diaz has the great potential for a Submission win on the other hand Henderson has the strength and size advantage and could possibly pull out a decision win. I just love listening to Nate Diaz talk every interview he does I get a nice chuckle, because he sounds like your sterotypical fighter that has been hit in the head waaay too much. I am gonna go out on a limb and root for my local talent for now and ponder my choice.

Expect to see something similar to Henderson vs Cerrone 1.

If Henderson does win I don't think it will be an easy fight. WAR DIAZ!

Henderson/Cerrone I, Henderson/Pettis, and in all likelihood Henderson/Diaz will end up being the 3 best LW fights of all time by the end of this year. This is a tough fight to call. If Henderson fights like he did against Frankie the 2nd time, Diaz is gonna light him up bad. If Henderson fights like he has against Miller, Cerrone, and Bocek, he could very well pull out a decision victory. I think Henderson comes out more motivated than ever due to everybody saying he didn't deserve the win in the 2nd Edgar fight, and he wins a 49-46, 48-47, 49-46 decision.

Also, the odds are a little ridiculous. If I ever bet on MMA I would probably throw some money down on Diaz just because the odds are SO disproportionate to the actual likelihood of how this fight goes down. I don't think Diaz should be more than a +120 underdog

Your wish has come through. Odds are affected by the number of people that are betting on each side and I guess a ****load of people were bidding a lot on Diaz after the +230 odds so the odds have dropped A LOT. Like off the face of the earth.

Nate Diaz +130

Does henderson really have a size advantage?
Diaz is skinny yes but he is taller and has a 6 inch reach advantage.
Henderson is simply bulkier. I have Diaz through submission right now. But I dont think henderson is going to be submitted, he wasnt submitted in the first Cowboy fight, he wont be submitted now. I think Diaz is going to use his superior striking and long reach advantage to swarm henderson with strikes and get the KO. He may submit him if he does this and has Henderson is so badly hurt that he then goes and gets a submission.
One of these will happen. Either way its a Diaz win.

I do think Bendo is the bigger fighter as far as weight and strength, but yes Diaz is the taller fighter with the longer reach. Bendo has the wrestling, speed, and athleticism, while Diaz has the boxing, submissions, and attitude. I really want Diaz to win, but I think that this fight Bendo's for the taking by UD.

Too much Wrestling

Prediction: correct Henderson   correct Decision

Huge fan of both Diaz brothers but Nate doesn't fair well against good wrestlers with strong submission defense.  Guida, Stevenson and Maynard aren't nearly as athletic or as big as Henderson.  Maynard is close.  They all took decisions from Nate.  Hope I'm wrong but I don't see this being anything but a decision win for Bendo.

Isn't Jim Miller a good wrestler with strong submission defense?? That turned out pretty good for Nate =)

He used his reach to his advantage in the Miller fight, and then finished on the ground when Jim was badly hurt from the standup. Henderson and Miller have a very similar reach as well as height, so he could work a similar tactic.

The fact that Diaz finished Jim Miller by submission shows just how dangerous his submission game really is. No matter which way this fight goes, it's going to be one exciting fight.

He looked greatt against Miller who I consider a great submission 55er but he is not a top level wrestler. In that fight Miller got tagged and was hurt so the submission was impressive but unlikely if Miller wasn't rocked and in survival mode.

Diaz. Simply because the guy has looked unstoppable ever since he tore apart Gomi. I mean he obliterated Cerrone and somehow made miller look like a chump. Henderson is a tough fight for anyone but i believe Diaz will use his reach to pepper Henderson on the feet and attack with submissions off his back. Much like the Cerrone/Bendo 1 fight but with Diaz having a better striking advantage.

He didn't obliterate Cowboy!  I want a re-match there and hopefully we'll get to see it in 2013.

Diaz will win. Henderson fights not to lose when he is champ. if theres an opening though, he pounces on it. but he'll be on the outside getting lit up so good luck to him.
