Round 1 - Both women came out unloading punches, Pereira seem to get the better of it... they clinch and the fight stalls. Pereira takes it to the ground and gets half-guard, start to ground and pound. Maciel gets up, but eats lots of punche while doing it. Pereira eats a HUGE punch, and goes to the clinch again. Takes to the ground again and Pereira is on half-guard. Tries a katagatami but the round ends.

Round 2- This is a striking match now, both are unloading punches, but Maciel is clearly getting the better of it. Pereira seems a little tired and is backpedalling a lot. Maciel controls the fight now. Pereira goes for a double leg, ends up on half guard, starts pounding again. Pereira goes for a guillotine. Maciel taps at 3:48 of Round 2.

Round 1- Jolison goes for a high kick, slips, but gets quickly gets up. KLB unloads punches, but none seem to really connect. They clinch and KLB is trying to take this to the ground. Jolison defends well, and actually gets a takedown. He is in half guard, the fight stalls a bit, as both fighters doesnt do much. The ref stands the fight, both guys starts unloading punches again, Jolison is actually connecting some now. Jolison goes for the takedown, gets it and pound a bit. Jolison gets full mount, but the round ends.

Rounds 2- Joilson goes for the takedown early in the round, gets it, but KLB quickly goes up again. They exchange punches, KLB takes a big one. Joilson goes for the takedown again. Gets half-guard, the fight stalls again, the ref stands them up. Jolison seems really tired now. KLB goes for the kill, Jolison eats a flying knee and is taken down. KLB now hitting from full guard. takes half-guard, again stalling. Lots of quick stand-ups by the ref. Jolison is exhausted, they clinch, KLB hits him hard with his head. Weird stuff. Joilson is on the ground and looks out. The ref ends the fight, lots of comotion on the ring.

Just curious. Is it common to have quick stand ups in Brazilian MMA matches? I know when the UFC goes to Brazil it seems the refs always are quick to pull the trigger on stand ups.

Jolison wins the fight by Disqualification from a illegal strike. Really weird by KLB, it really looked like a total intentional headbutt.

@WishIsHere not at all.. they usually let go when the fighter is trying some BJJ from the top... but when they are just laying there, they quickly standup.

Round 1 - They both come exchanging punches, Freitas drops PQD with a big right, goes to the ground. They scramble, both are quickly up again. They clinch and go to the ropes, Freitas is looking for a single leg. Fight stalls. Ref breaks them up. Freitas goes for a high kick, slips, and ends up on the ground. PQD on full guard. Good ground pound by PQD. Freitas quickly goes for an arm, looks tight, but PQD escapes. PQD unloads huge punches from the guard. End of the round.
