He is scheduled to make his UFC debut August 23, 2014 at UFN 48: Bisping vs. Le. He had spent months preparing for Sheldon Westcott but due to injury, Shinsho Anzai would fill in on short notice dropping down to 170 for the first time in his career, Anzai had knockout power even at 205. Mina however would finish Anzai with punches ending it in the first round by TKO for his first UFC win as well as getting a Performance of the Night bonus for his effort.
