Cleveland vs. Lewis II Wiki Update Wiki

Cleveland and Lewis took to the cage for the first bout of the main card.

Cleveland came out aggressive, pushing Lewis into the cage and exchanging strikes before whipping Lewis to the mat. Lewis got back to his feet and secured a takedown of his own, working from Cleveland's closed guard. Cleveland managed to get on top in a scramble and took Lewis's back, but Lewis stood up. Cleveland attempted to suplex Lewis but ended up on the bottom, pulling his opponent's shorts halfway down comically. On the restart, Lewis pounded away from the mount position and nearly finished the fight before the bell.

The fighter exchanged strikes to start the third round until Cleveland got Lewis to the mat and worked some strikes from side control. Lewis got back to his feet but remained on the defensive as Cleveland stalked him around the cage. Cleveland got another takedown in the center of the cage then moved into full mount before Lewis rolled him with a Kimura at the bell.

The pace slowed considerably in the third, with both fighters winging lazy strikes. Suddenly, Lewis took Cleveland down and finished him with hard strikes on the ground against the cage.

The official end came 1:28 into the first round.
