And it's ok. You have only cherry picked 5 of the 11 fights. And even then you will probably get half of those wrong. But that's how we all learn. By making mistakes.

Jasmine x Cortez and Holland x JDM should be 50/50 fights tbh.

Cortez hasn't fought in over a year. Meanwhile, Jas has been active and she has shown us that she can win fights with tremendous pressure. Cortez is a way better wrestler than her, but if she doesn't get the takedowns, she suffers on the feet. And I'm not saying that Jas has great striking, but she can win minutes by being constantly on her face.

About the Holland x JDM fight: I don't really know. I've been switching my pick since the fight was announced. Holland at 170 is a different animal, but I can't trust my money on someone who doesn't seem to really want to be a champion.
My guess is that JDM will win this one by split decision.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 490 Points   |   Tied for 1485th

Grasso vs. Shevchenko II
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
i'll take val to cruise and be delighted if i'm wrong.

Holland vs. Maddalena
Kevin Holland, DEC
this is my underdog play tonight, a lot of the other matches seem too lopsided. step up for jack, can he manage the range difference? maybe we see kevin push the grappling a little?

Rosas Jr. vs. Mitchell
Raul Rosas Jr., SUB, R1
without being disrespectful, mitchell seems like one of the more obvious fodder opponents of the past few years being used to pump saiaman and now presumably rebound rosas.

Zellhuber vs. Giagos
Daniel Zellhuber, DEC
just a question of if giagos can find his td's because he figures to be outgunned standing. i'll say not consistently enough.

Padilla vs. Nelson
Fernando Padilla, TKO, R3
maybe nelson can push the pace early and get some respect, but otherwise i expect padilla to be more active with volume while circling.

Godinez vs. Reed
Lupita Godinez, DEC
elise might be the better striker, but she gets taken down in every fight and that definitely fits into loopy's gameplan.

Kopylov vs. Fremd
Roman Kopylov, TKO, R2
i think it's a true possibility that fremd could make this dirty and find td's, but my hangup is that his best wins are still outside the ufc, so another favorite it is.

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, TKO, R3
i think lacerda will try to grapple to protect his chin, and maybe it works for a bit, but i'm gonna take him to melt at some point.

Cortez vs. Jasudavicius
Tracy Cortez, DEC
maybe jas can keep range, defend td's, and punish with knees/elbows when close, but i think tracy may be able to keep her moving backwards.

Campbell vs. Reyes
Charlie Campbell, TKO, R1
reyes can wrestle, but there are too many variables when someone has been out for 5+ years after injury, pulling out of fights this year, and fighting someone nearly a decade younger.

Knutsson vs. Mann
Josefine Knutsson, TKO, R2
perhaps mann can close distance and find td's, but i think knutsson's striking will be too punishing.

Maybe you should start predicting golf instead. I hear a lot of favourites win in golf ⛳️ 😎

I am intrigued about the winner of Chairez - Lacerda. I want to go with Chairez and in fact I have him as a pick, but I feel that will be a surprise from Lacerda via Ko and many picks will be crossed across the board (including mine). Perhaps I am mistaking and Chairez still Ko's or Sub's Lacerda. I got win by Sub,but who knows man. This one is stuck in my head.

Knutsson vs. Mann
Josefine Knutsson, DEC
Knutsson will win this fight pretty easily. I don't think Mann is UFC caliber and Knutsson is extremely skilled. I wouldn't be shocked if Josefine knocks her out the same way Bruna Brasil did. Mann is too small.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 2669th

Grasso vs. Shevchenko II
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
Shevchenko was winning the first fight until she did a stupid spin move and got subbed. She should be able to get the belt back here pretty dominantly. I like Grasso but I still think Shev is better.

Holland vs. Maddalena
Kevin Holland, SUB, R2
Kevin is gonna snatch Jacks neck. It's coming.

Rosas Jr. vs. Mitchell
Raul Rosas Jr., SUB, R1
Rosas Jr. should win in the first minute or two. Easy submission coming up for him. Mitchell may be one of the worst fighters in UFC history.

Zellhuber vs. Giagos
Daniel Zellhuber, DEC
I wanted to back Giagos here but I just can't. His cardio is sooo bad and Zellhuber will take advantage of that.

Padilla vs. Nelson
Fernando Padilla, TKO, R3
Padilla is gonna finish a gassed Nelson. Why the hell is Nelson still in the UFC.. yikes. Padilla is very good.

Godinez vs. Reed
Lupita Godinez, DEC
If Loopy decides to wrestle, she wins 30-27. If she doesn't, she wins 29-28. I don't think Reed is horrible but she's outmatched everywhere here.

Kopylov vs. Fremd
Roman Kopylov, TKO, R2
Brutal knockout from Kopylov is coming.

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Daniel Lacerda, SUB, R1
I'm gonna take Lacerda to pull off the upset in this spot. Looking back at all his past fights he is always so close to getting a finish in round 1 but then his opponent survives until round 2 comes and Lacerda folds. I think he can sub Edgar early here.

Cortez vs. Jasudavicius
Jasmine Jasudavicius, DEC
I think Jas can win a decision here by stuffing the takedowns from Cortez and going for her own. She has the ability to bully Cortez here but it's gonna be close.

Campbell vs. Reyes
Charlie Campbell, TKO, R1
Reyes is coming back after 6 years just to get absolutely wrecked in round 1. Campbell is a problem and he's gonna retire Reyes.
