Collard vs. Burgos
Clay Collard, DEC
Tough fight to predict. Burgos really looks average as hell at lighweight, and Collard is still the same tough boxer with limited talent but amazing heart and crazy fighting spirit. Burgos will probably try to drag this the mat and there is a good chance that tepid gameplan works against Collard, but I can see a world where Collard manages to avoids most of the take downs and rocks Burgos enough times to steal a close decision.

Aubin-Mercier vs. Miranda
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
What a career OAM is having here at PFL. It's not like he's winning against bad competition either. And he's becoming more and more confident, and he's even fun to watch now !

Clay Collard, TKO, R2
Why is Burgos the favorite when he’s only here because of some stupid **** the PFL did?

Collard vs. Burgos
Shane Burgos, DEC
I'm sure that Burgos can take Clay to the ground and grind out a decision

Aubin-Mercier vs. Miranda
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
I wouldn't be surprised if OAM was able to get a finish

Magomedkerimov vs. Umalatov
Magomed Magomedkerimov, DEC
Does the lower change his name to something different.

Leal vs. Sy II
Sadibou Sy, TKO, R3
I'm sure that he's gonna try a head kick til it lands flush or maybe even kick the hell out of his liver

Caldone vs. Grimard
John Caldone, SUB, R2
Not the best records for the opponents especially for Grimard (7-12, 2-7, 2-10 for his last 3). I realize he's relatively new but this isn't boxing. Hopefully he continues to improve his craft and might fight for a belt in a milli in next few yrs

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 476th

Collard vs. Burgos
Clay Collard, DEC
Feels great to finally be getting this fight. However, it has lost some of its allure since burgos has turned into a totally different fighter since leaving the ufc. He no longer likes to get into wars and instead just tries to grapple every fight. I think he can (and will) get collard down because collard can’t grapple very well and makes terrible fight iq mistakes constantly. On the feet I think it’s collard all day; yes, he is sloppy, makes bad mistakes, and leaves himself to be hit, but Burgos on the feet is a shell of himself now. Collard just has to bring the pace on the feet and it will have Burgos uncomfortable

Aubin-Mercier vs. Miranda
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, SUB, R2
Miranda is such a strange fighter to me. I love his striking but the dude is so small for this class and looks fat but jacked at the same time; very weird body type. He is pretty hittable and does swing wild a lot of the time. What I really don’t trust is his grappling. I know OAM has been favoring the striking a lot more recently but I think he can easily take down Miranda and sub him

Magomedkerimov vs. Umalatov
Magomed Magomedkerimov, TKO, R3
Okay now this is an interesting one. Umalatov looks like a force in round 1 then he gasses badly. He doesn’t death gas but does slow down considerably. Magomedkeremov is weird because he always looks like he comes off the couch & isn’t athletic, but then he ends up looking really good. I’m gonna take him here because he has more experience and I know his gas tank is good. He’s never really shown durability issues before but I didn’t like how he dropped his hands against ray cooper. Umalatov could chin him early but in the later rounds I think he gets outworked

Leal vs. Sy II
Sadibou Sy, DEC
Both are beasts but I think sy is just too good for anyone in pfl. There’s a chance all the activity could slow him down but he hasn’t shown that at all yet.

Ali Walsh vs. Davis
Biaggio Ali Walsh, TKO, R1
Oh look biaggio fighting another bum

Rashed Neda vs. Kuppe
Mostafa Rashed Neda, TKO, R1
I don’t think neda is very good but kuppe is so chinny

Al-Qahtani vs. Zelner
Abdullah Al-Qahtani, SUB, R1
Al-qahtani is a beast

Caldone vs. Grimard
John Caldone, SUB, R2
Why are either of these guys in the pfl? Neither seem very good

170 finals this year are actually really good.

Umalatov: no losses
Magomedkerimov: only loss since 2015 is to Ray Cooper in a fight that he was winning until he wasnt.
Sy: only loss in the last 4 years is to Magomedkerimov
Leal: only loss since 2015 is to Sy.

Leal vs. Sy II
Sadibou Sy, DEC
Sadibou Sy by decision looks like the smart pick.

Magomedkerimov vs. Renfro
Magomed Magomedkerimov, TKO, R2
Magomedkerimov should reach the finals fairly easily.
