@Jodra There is not many HW prospect and Aslan is a blown up LHW imho. I do get what you are saying, but any HW who doesnt show grit, cardio and talent you you just end up rolling the dice on. There isn't many HW deserving of contender series past Gaziev who is already scheduled for Contender series. Maybe Dailidko if he wins his next fight, Kornilov, Machado, Trabelsi (who may still fight for UFC was having contract issues iirc), Bilostenniy and a few other russian guys in ACA. but at the end of the day they are all HWs so how good they are or even if they even are good is up for debate. In my honest opinion I would have liked to see them come on contender series or get signed before Aslan.

Smotherman has a good get up game I don’t see Grigoriou being able to control him for rounds on end, even if he is able to take Smotherman down at some point(s) in the fight. Smotherman just needs to worry about the leg kicks, other than that he should be able to piece up Grigoriou.

Despite all the push back on him, I actually like Aslan as a prospect. I think he has made good strides since the Anton fight. Moves well, switches stances, great kicks, good power. Also don’t understand why people were talking about him as a HW when his entire career has been at 205 and so is this fight. It’s tough to find legit 205 prospects and i think Ibo can have a good run at it in the UFC. Matchmakers obviously see something too because this is as clear a setup fight as you can get. Renato sucks got outpointed by Pogues last year and is gonna get finished Round 1 tomorrow night

Waiting to see what these round props come out at, I think over 1.5 in the Sonmez/Amil fight could be a good spot because I see either Sonmez winning by decision with tons of top control or Amil finishing him late after they’ve both gassed similar to how Gittins finished Sonmez

Al-Selwady has been badly KO'd multiple times in his career. Not a good sign against a guy like Hardwick.

Renato Jr is a bum. Ibo Aslan is also a bum, however, he's much more explosive and powerful. Aslan blasts Renato for a fast finish.

Striker vs striker match up. Smotherman is the obvious pick. Longer, faster, guy with more explosive power. Smotherman also seems to have faced better competition over his career. Smotherman by KO.

If Hyder stops the takedowns , he wins easily. Emrah was having a lot of trouble getting a takedown in the whole first round of his last fight. Got flying kneed , kneed twice and allowed his opponent to get up easily. I think if this happens , Hyder will keep his distance and snipe em. But that's a big if. Emrah seems to have a decent gas tank and so does Hyder. Hyder is very explosive.

Pampos is way too green. Gassed by rd 2 in his last fight against an absolute tomato can, ended up going all 5 and finishing it in the 5th via leg kicks. Low guard, throws wide looping shots, very lazy at times when he throws and leave himself open for the counter. Smotherman counter right in rd 2 for the KO.

Skip to 1 hour and 3 minute mark to see her fight. If you Youtube Eduarda Ronda, thunderfight the promotion pops up. You can find a few of her fights here. I think she gets the sub round 2 as Silva gasses.

Definitely think she goes for takedown round 1 and either finishes or gasses SIlva to get the finish in rd2.
