Holm vs. Bueno Silva
Holly Holm, DEC
Steep drop in quality from the last card. I have no idea who's going to win this; Holly should pick at Silva with her straight left and inside low kick for long enough to get by with a lackluster decision, I think.

Duraev vs. Park
Jun Yong Park, DEC
This is a decent scrap. I consider Park to be somewhat underrated as a complete fighter, and he has a nice, grinding style of pushing a pace to break his opponents. It'll be a touch more difficult to do so given an opponent like Duraev, but he'll likely get the nod based on activity alone.

McKinney vs. Sadykhov
Nazim Sadykhov, TKO, R1
McKinney went out like a torch 5 months ago. There's no way he's recovered enough to sustain any more significant damage. This fight is interesting because it's virtually a mirror matchup; looping strikers with big power who like to headhunt; if I had to put money on it, I'd bet Nazim can ring that McKinney bell again, and should he do so, it won't be long before a finish materializes.

Careful calling melsik a lock. I think he'll win too but he's overrated. Nobody is a lock this is the year of the underdog

6 pages? That has to be a record for how early I join one of these threads. Or more to the point, how little there is to say about this card.

Predictions: 10 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 650 Points   |   Tied for 1132nd

Holm vs. Bueno Silva
Mayra Bueno Silva, SUB, R2
Garbage card. Might have to find something else to do that night because it's not like I'm winning money on cards anyway & there's about 2 low level entertaining fights. I think Bueno Silva will hurt and submit holm with a RNC. If Holly wins by clinching against the cage then the ufc should eliminate the womens bantamweight division

Duraev vs. Park
Jun Yong Park, DEC
I don't see Dueaev getting a first round sub and that's his only way to win

Harris vs. Parisian
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
Both trash but I think Harris is more explosive early

Dumont vs. Chandler
Chelsea Chandler, TKO, R3
I think Chandler will set a better pace and be more lesbian

Azaitar vs. Prado
Francisco Prado, SUB, R3
I think azaitars only chance of winning is a first round ko & I don't see that happening

McKinney vs. Sadykhov
Terrance McKinney, SUB, R1
This pick worries me because McKinney is not good & I never believed in his hype but nazim is a can crusher & I think McKinney can get the back of nazim early. If this fight gets out of the 1st nazim will probably win

Evans-Smith vs. Perez
Ailin Perez, DEC
I'm not picking a 6-5 36 year old who hasn't fought in 2.5 years. God bless you if you sit through this fight

Nam vs. Maksum
Azat Maksum, SUB, R2
Yeah I'm gonna have to pick the 16-0 guy who's 11 years younger. This is the year of the underdog so Nam will probably ko maksum 15 seconds in the fights

Deaton III vs. Munoz
Alex Munoz, DEC
UGHHHHH *** do I do here. Both are trash but munoz has a grappling advantage I guess.

Valdéz vs. Elder
Evan Elder, TKO, R3
Elder looked better in his last 2 losses than valdez did

Nunes vs. Dudakova
Viktoriya Dudakova, SUB, R3
Either istela gets a first round ko or she gasses

Lingo vs. Costa
Melquizael Costa, DEC
I'll go with the younger more dangerous fighter

Lutz vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, DEC
Melsik is overrated but lutz and 0 ability

Duraev vs. Park
Albert Duraev, DEC
pretty equally matched, over 1.5

Dumont vs. Chandler
Chelsea Chandler, DEC
chandler is pretty unproven but dumont is pretty mediocre at best - i think chandler outwrestles her into a decision or late submission

Azaitar vs. Prado
Francisco Prado, TKO, R2
who cares vs who cares

McKinney vs. Sadykhov
Terrance McKinney, TKO, R1
sadykhov is a fraud

Nam vs. Maksum
Azat Maksum, SUB, R2
jab - jab - right cross - knockdown - submission. welcome to the ufc azat

Valdéz vs. Elder
Evan Elder, TKO, R2
say goodbye to the ufc genaro

Nunes vs. Dudakova
Viktoriya Dudakova, SUB, R1
next wmma goat has finally arrived

Lingo vs. Costa
Melquizael Costa, TKO, R3
melq's muay thai simply too good for lingo

Lutz vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R2
the gap on the feet is simply enormous and melsik has been training at AKA so i'm hopeful his grappling won't **** the bed

Feel like recency bias is affecting the McKinney line a ton. Obviously Terrance has his holes but I wasn’t super impressed with Nazim in his debut, iirc he was down 2-0 on at least 2 judges scorecards going into the third before getting the stoppage with the cut. He’s a dog but he leaves a ton of openings on the feet which I feel like is terrible for fighting against McKinney. Feel like the line should be a pick ‘em or slightly to McKinney

This seems like a good fight for McKinney. Nazim is a brawler and has no striking defense

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 3718th

Holm vs. Bueno Silva
Holly Holm, TKO, R5
Mayra could get a flurry and possibly KO Holm, but I think it's more likely that Holly will keep this at her preferred Kickboxing distance and eventually land a KO headkick. She should just retire and free up this weight class.

Duraev vs. Park
Jun Yong Park, TKO, R3
Going back and forth on this one and may still change my mind.

Dumont vs. Chandler
Chelsea Chandler, DEC
Dumont has fought and won at featherweight, but she hasn't done much more than smother her opponent. I'm hoping Chandler can at least give us a fight.

Azaitar vs. Prado
Ottman Azaitar, TKO, R1
Someone is going to sleep.

Evans-Smith vs. Perez
Ailin Perez, TKO, R1
Jab, throw her down, land enough elbows to cut her open, game over.

Nam vs. Maksum
Azat Maksum, SUB, R3
Both fast, both throw straight, not looping, shots, both slow starters. Nam may change up and throw early. Azat has smooth, smart entries on his TD's, knows when to change to a single leg, when to let go, and his scrambles are fluid. He's durable and technical, keeps his foot on the outside. Big debut win for Azat. So happy for him to finally make it to UFC.

Deaton III vs. Munoz
Alex Munoz, DEC
I don't get this fight at all.

Valdéz vs. Elder
Genaro Valdéz, TKO, R2
Viva MEXICO! Valdez gonna bring the heat so he can shine in his first UFC fight. I like this fight for him. I think he can showcase his skills and get the W.

Lingo vs. Costa
Melquizael Costa, TKO, R2
Lingo has a strange style, and it's not beneficial so far. I see Costa catching him early with that massive overhand left or left hook.

Walt Harris

Predictions: 11 of 13 Winners, 6 Perfect, 725 Points   |   Tied for 378th

Is Walt even worth watching tape on? He’s KO R1 or bust, no? I’m considering just watching tape on Parisian to see if he can withstand early blitzes. This is for prediction purposes because this is a stay away fight IMO. We have no idea what Walt will look like in there. He could go out there and point fight Parisian for 3 rounds for all we know.

Lutz vs. Baghdasaryan
Tucker Lutz, DEC
First, I wish Lutz would go back to Lightweight. It feels like he's cutting too much at featherweight and it shows. He's fought better competition--and lost, yeah, but I think his ground game will be the deciding factor here, if he really wants it bad enough. He gets a lot of negativity on Tap, which I don't get, but if he's sharpened his tools, he could use this fight to turn things around.
