I like Nam, had him as a dog against Ode, it is just that question where the undefeated fighter comes to the ufc massive fav, debut and will they justify the big price tag? It feels good getting the dog ticket cash in these situations but i'm passing completely from this fight for now I think.

Yeah, I am definitely not recommending anyone to hammer the dog but I would just personally be apprehensive about laying a -400 ticket. 80%+ implied probability is not a good price for a debuting fighter here.

I am not debating who should be the favorite. For the purposes of tapology, I think Azat is the pick. It is from a betting perspective and implied probability. Last thing to go is the power. Ask Ode Osborne what happens when you leave yourself open with Nam.

I get it. On paper this should be an easy tapology pick. And Guram was going to mop Elves Brenner. I took the Brenner side betting because the line was ridiculous. I will happily lose less on Tyson Nam than risk more to hit a crazy chalk parlay because long term the books will win. Gambling is a marathon. Not a track meet.

Can we make an entirely separate section of this forum to talk about bets? Or can someone make a weekly thread to talk about bets similar to how theres a weekly "survivor" game?
I get gambling isn't going anywhere but its more or less made the weekly event threads completely irrelevant to people that actually want to talk about fights.
