Well I didn't expect a sub but otherwise it played out pretty much as I expected. Devastating lowkicks against a bit faster hands from Reed. Advantage in clinch for Loma including takedowns from that position. Her grappling was better than ever though, despite getting reversed in the first.

She won by sub but I think why even risk it when you know you’ll piece her up on the feet. Maybe wanted to prove a point and try to put people off from thinking they can just dominate her in the grappling department in the future.

Yeah it was very risky because as we saw in the first round, she's quite bad from the bottom, something that we've seen in the past. A slipup there and she might end up in a position where she needs to finish Reed in the last round.

I half feel like I should have slept till 3am then started watching this card. The bigger insult to the Australian fans is having all of the top fighters from there doing press but not actually fighting on this card. Kai, tuivasa, Hooker and whittaker would have made this a good card. Instead it’s a 4 fight card. They should have just gave rob cannonier so he could get a win and still be next in line. Maybe they were banking on Imavov winning last month and doing a quick turnaround

Why is Makelchev training in shoes? Seems inefficient when you're training to fight barefoot.

Yeah not the first time a smaller Thai had a power and damage advantage the way they train is insanely savage.
Plus they fight like everyday all day when not training those guys have hundreds of fights into their 20.
Seems true of the women too but less data available to me.

Edwards should be above makhachev in p4p rankings for fighting tougher competition and for beating the p4p #1. Another interesting one if Allen beats holloway does he get ranked higher than emmet or yair in p4p rankings
