@Khanate
Nice analysis, Allen is free money imo.
Glad I got him at +odds
That 2k this weekend will be welcomed.

@Andrew1047 I like Allen at + odds, did not realize he was the underdog at some point. Also Mansour Barnaoui at only -140 is good value, he's younger and should be a pretty safe bet over Picolotti despite coming off a layoff. If I was betting I'd look into that one coming up. Cheers.

Thanks I'll give it a look.
Not seen you posting before but you have good insight!
Avoid Rah123's picks, he has a long history of taking L's.

I see your points. You make good ones.
Except Tri Star. Tri Star is the SBG of Canada.
And we all know about Canadian MMA.

Damn I just saw the updated rankings. Glad Yan only dropped from 1 to 2 but they're disrespecting chito Vera. I love O'Malley but he shouldn't be #1. In my opinion it should be
1. Chito
2. O'Malley
3. Yan
4. Merab
5. Dillashaw or sandhagen

@Rah123
Do you remember when Max Holloway gave Calvin Kattar the worst beating of his career so far?

that's like saying conor/poirier/gaethje are all trash because khabib dominated them
losing to max is a badge of honor, nothing to be ashamed of
If you wanna compare arnold allen to max holloway you might need to be admitted to a mental health institute

chito at #1 when he hasnt beat anyone in the top 5 and his best wins are a really close decision over #7 rob font and a win in a fight he was losing against cruz's corpse at #8?

Agree with you. A win over Cruz and a fluke win over O'Malley don't mean as much

Allen doesn't land as many strikes as Kattar but he is significantly more accurate than Kattar and that's important because Kattar absorbs a whopping 7 significant strikes per minute on average, he's had 7 fights where he's absorbed 80+ strikes. Holloway dished him over 400 in one fight. That's 4 average fights worth of strikes in one fight.
So when we say Kattar is a good boxer he can throw hands but the man's defense is horrendous. The thing that makes this weird is the ungodly number of strikes Kattar absorbs he also frequently lands 80+ per fight. Allen has only landed that many strikes on one occasion. So there is a real question if he can keep up with Kattars pace or will Allen be able to dictate the pace as he has previously. I don't know but I think there's a real good chance Kattar gets chinned in this fight. He's absorbed 650 strikes within 2 years. That's a careers worth of damage for some fighters. He's 34, imo too old to be taking that level of punishment.
Edit: I actually can't find anyone who absorbs more strikes per minute than Kattar. If you know someone with more than 7 I'd be interested to know who.

You can't bet other people's belongings because you went broke.
