Krzysztof says in the Blog that it was his last fight, if he really doesn't fight again, props to him for putting on some great fights, especially the two wars with Bonnar.

Like he said, ****** way to go out! Wish i could have seen him leave with a W

I thought he had more to offer... he wasn't getting completely creamed and KO'd in all his fights.  I support any fighter's decision to retire though... best of luck.

That sucks........He's gonna be a badass trainer though........! He'll probably go down the Mike Dolce route and become a really good nutritionist

He's always seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders.  Maybe he has some nagging injuries, or maybe he's noticing his memory going, he did admit he didn't know what day it was in the vlog.

Cool guy and cool fighter, he had a pretty cool career though, few sub's of the night and 2 sick fights with Bonnar.

He might rethink his decision to retire, because he said it right after the fight with all the adrenaline and many other emotions going through his head. His performance looked similar to Wanderlei Silva's loss against Chris Leben at UFC 132, but Wanderlei came back with an important victory and now he's coaching TUF Brazil. Everything can change quickly in this sport.

Yeah, I hope some guys can learn some lessons from him, I don't like seeing anyone with those long term effects. Unfortunately with the first generation of fighters aging, we will probably see more and more head trauma and brain injuries from them in their older age.

It's stories like this where I have to be somewhat thankful that my nerve injuries have kept me out of the ring for a couple years. I may have to live in pain, but at least I've got my mind. That's the most important thing. You don't listen to people telling you about brain damage, etc. when you're trying to make your way up the ranks.

I only got to an amateur championship level in kickboxing before trying to transition to MMA and getting injured. But I certainly took more licks than most humans are supposed to endure in a lifetime.
