Krzysztof says in the Blog that it was his last fight, if he really doesn't fight again, props to him for putting on some great fights, especially the two wars with Bonnar.

I taught, trained and competed in Tae Kwon Do for years and in my experience, most guys go to tournaments and compete and take a thousand kicks in the head and never get more the a mild concussion. But when there is an injury is bad. One of the most common bad injuries in tkd is broken necks. I seen a guy get his neck broken so badly even the paramedic didn't want to move him. He was laying there half an hour at least before they moved with a doctor there. I'm pretty sure I even seen a guy get paralyzed. But again, this doesn't happen much, once a tournament maybe. I was never great at the competitive aspect of tkd ( i spent years trying to learn to strike against taller, thinner and lighter people when the whole time I was much more naturally talented at grappling). Anyway my point is, most people go through combat sports and come out fine, for the most part, but the ones who get the permanent injuries get it bad. Anyway Figured I d add my two cents because this is a rare time I know what I'm talking about lol.
