Burns withdrew from the Billy Q fight last year to have ACL surgery on that knee so it is likely he may have re-injured it.

Picking Leonardo over Böhm. It's crazy to me when I consider how bad you have to have looked in the cage for me to fade you vs Leonardo but here we are.

I think that Blaydes has improved his stance a lot and that with his bouncing style he can handle himself quite well on his feet, but the problem is his chin, which he can't really receive, and we know that Aspinall has bombs in his hands. I expect Blaydes to feint a lot to pull out Aspinall's combination and to duck under the blow and look for a takedown. I am interested in how Aspinall will be from the bottom side, I believe that he will not be too effective and that Blaydes will control him on the floor. The biggest problem will be to bring the fight to the ground because Aspinall has a good tdd and quite good footwork with which he can nullify Blaydes wrestling. I believe that he will end the fight with a 1-2 draw when Blaydes starts to lose focus.

Tom Aspinall KO/TKO RD3

Predictions: 11 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 665 Points   |   Tied for 295th

Hermansson vs. Curtis
Jack Hermansson, SUB, R1
Remember Kelvin Gastelum. I think this is similar.

Pimblett vs. Leavitt
Paddy Pimblett, SUB, R1
Ol' Padddddy....

Krylov vs. Gustafsson
Alexander Gustafsson, TKO, R3
One more war from Gus'

Klein vs. Jones
Mason Jones, DEC

Diakiese vs. Hadžović
Marc Diakiese, DEC
ITS [JUH-KAY-SEE]

Wood vs. Rosa
Nathaniel Wood, DEC
Wood outpaces Rosa.....BIG TIME!

Amirkhani vs. Pearce
Makwan Amirkhani, SUB, R1
Makwan puts a tough pace on JSP...wouldn't be shocked either way. JSP could catch him just as easy. Makwan exposes himself at times and it proves to be his downfall.

Mokaev vs. Johnson
Muhammad Mokaev, DEC
Johnson has a crazy escape game, so I'll leave this at a decision.

Herbert vs. Nelson
Jai Herbert, TKO, R1
Finally a favorable matchup for Jai.

Böhm vs. Leonardo
Victoria Leonardo, TKO, R2
Böhm let's opponents get in her grasp instead of using her reach and keeping distance. Too many chances for Leonardo to get this to the ground.

Dalby vs. Silva
Nicolas Dalby, DEC
Silva looks old and uncoordinated. Looks like an old man in need of a Cervical fusion.

So Gus beat both the former LHW champions back to back in 2016 and 2017 over 5 years ago. Then got stopped 3 times in a row and is now back after a 2 year layoff.
I'm watching tape but asking myself if there is even a point to it under these circumstances. Who the hell knows what he'll look like?

As I said, I think Gustafsson is over the hill and people think for some reason that he's the same fighter who dismantled Glover in 2017. He's just not. If he was, he'd completely batter Krylov here.

It's so easy to see the differences now. He's slower, telegraphed, just looks stiff. Krylov may be questionable sometimes but let's not forget how good he is.

I don't think Gus looks stiff. If anything he looks a bit gun shy jumping around. His approach vs Smith seemed to be an attempt to win a point fight 5 strikes to 4 every round by Chookagian power-level lowkicks where because they connected with Smith's leg you have to reluctantly count them as a strike.

His coaches asked him to take Smith down every round but he didn't look for it really although he capitalized that one time in rd3 after he landed a good body kick. He basically ignored his corner.

Mayonese kid 🤡🤡

Mayonese had Bruno silva by KO against ALEX PEREIRA 😭😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭🤡😭💀💀💀😭😭😭🤡💀💀😭🤡💀😭💀🤡💀😭💀💀😭💀

He also had Carlston Harris by submission against Shavkat💀🤡💀💀🤡💀🤡💀🤡💀😭😭🤡🤡🤡🤡💀🤡😭💀 the breakdown:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel decently confident in Harris here. Dont get me wrong, Shavkat is very good but I think Harris is a hidden gem. Both guys have fought great competition outside of the ufc but I would have to give the lean to Harris because hes fought 3 people in major orgs (turman, pereira, and saygid). for Shavkat, he is good everywhere, hes a master of sport in mma and has good striking and sambo. Shavkat doesn't actively hunt the finish but, like bondar, he just seems to find it everytime. for Harris, I really like what I see. hes a very good striker and has some very good head movement and striking defense, but he also has some underrated wrestling and bjj. he loves to throw a straight left into a standing hammer fist which I dont personally like but it works for him and hes even slept some people bad with it. when I watch his tape im super impressed with his ground game. he times his takedowns very well and the takedown defense is there; when he fought saygid I saw him turn a takedown against him into full mount for himself. Very impressive against a daegstani too. HIs bjj is really slick too, most people go to sleep when he wraps one up and his anaconda and darce chokes are nastyyyy. Hes got a tough challenge in front of him but I really think he gets the upset here. I also dont like Shavkat's striking defense too, probably the one knock I have against him.

Anyone think Paul Craig's run of hail mary finishes ends here?

I really want to take a shot on Volkan.

Maybe fight ends inside the distance is the play...but I'm sure its juiced.

I love Chris Curtis

Predictions: 0 of 0 Winners, 0 Perfect, 0 Points   |   Tied for 4448th

But I don't know if he gets it done here.

He is the smaller fighter.  Coming in on short notice.  Overseas.  I am not sold his wrist is completely healed.  He just fought, as well.  Idk.  This may be the end of his hot streak.  This is a big ask.  He can win.  It is MMA.  But he has a lot of intangibles against him with this situation.
