Russian invasion of Ukraine thread.

I'll post what's happening as it comes through for purposes of posterity. Doubt the veracity of what is posted here. Having lived through the Iraq war, I am sure that the vast majority of what gets reported will turn out to be either misinformation or outright ********. Posting because a lot of non-Australia members will be asleep, now. I'll report as much as I can.

So far the g****vine is:

Russia has indeed embarked on a full scale invasion of Ukraine. Air attacks, and ground forces. There has been at least one missile strike, there have been front-line Ukranian casualities ( have seen video, cannot post it here, too graphic).

Belarus has thrown in with Russia/is issuing support.
Reports of Ukrainian air defence having shot down multiple Russian planes, either drones or fighters.

Also i think its funny how Russia invaded Ukraine to stop them from joing NATo and having a NATO country on their border. Now they are getting Finland and Sweden to join NATO this summer.

Putin just achieved a military ass whooping and 2 new NATO countries on his border.

I'm sorry but you don't get to take a punt on that question. Either name your sources, provide primary material, or be disregarded. If you want to engage in a discussion, you have to be able to both validate and qualify your statements with evidence. It would appear you don't have any. I do. I have provided it.

If you had actually used the source, you'd be aware that it contains footage from many cauldrons other than Mariupol. You'd also know that right about now the DPR have all but totally secured Kharkiv. But you didn't even bother to peruse it because you are a garden-variety stupid American. And you're getting your information, like all stupid Americans do, from MSM.

Russia must of been so tired of Winning and victory outside of Kiev they just gave Ukraine a free pass and went home for Vodka lol

Or maybe they had to run away because of supply, moral and large number of deaths?

Crazy how Russia is winning so easily and just decided to leave without taking Kiev, the capital and overthrowing the government. Must be some master plan by Putin.

It should go without saying that if you have a position, you need to be able to justify that position with evidence. If you do not do this, you are asking me and everybody to take what you're saying on faith, which nobody is going to be willing to do.

Funny thing. Right before the US Military was about to take over Baghdad and overthrow the Iraq government. They just turned around and went home. It was a master plan by President George Bush that nobody saw coming.

They felt like complete victory was just too much, so they had to take it back alittle

It is a bit of brow-lifter that you're not willing to to entrtain the possibility that Ukraine might not be winning this war yet concomitantly are willing to entertain the notion that aliens may have accelerated human evolution for some reason, possibly because they require us as a  food source.
