@cheese I need to do the same. I just don’t think the fanfare and the attention Lee has ever gotten has been equal to his performance.

Sanchez on the other hand has given us numerous memorable battles and he gets mostly disrespect from the fans, while those same fans talk about Lee’s potential.

@ayy I agree with you but I would say he isn’t a wasted talent. He is what he is. A UFC title contender on his best day.

I think the UFC realized he was washed when he couldn’t really use his wrestling to beat Daniel Rodriguez.

I feel like he is. Everyone has talked about how he’s this absolute beast but he’s shown that not only is he able to put it together, but he’s shown he can’t beat the better guys. I feel like he’s just always gonna have problems. First it was the weight class so he goes to 170, that doesn’t work so then he goes to 165 and starts having injuries galore. He’s skilled but I don’t think he’ll ever live up to the potential that people thought he woukd

Sanchez did way better than all the haters thought. You can never count out a veteran with as much experience as he has!

I think that if Penn was not champ at 155 around 2008, that Sanchez would have been,
