I mean, I get that you don't like Canelo, something about Mexican beef is it?
But why, if you're a fan, would you not want to watch 1 of the very best in the world do it?? Even if you don't like him you can cheer for the other guy!! If you dislike him that much imagine it you miss him getting his ass beat!!!

Contrary to popular belief Caleb Plant is a good boxer, one could say a excellent boxer, with an educated jab who boxes from the outside utilizing level changes, lateral movement, faints and guard switching all well. In the past boxers with a good lead jab and lateral movement would give Canelo a lot of trouble, however over the years he's become accustomed and adopted nicely for it; Often times letting them exit so they can catch his patent body hook which pays greatly as the fight goes on. Caleb's one big weakness is when he gets tired he fades badly, all the great technique, head movement, footwork, etc. deteriorate rapidly and Caleb lacks big power to close rounds early. When tired Caleb looks to do his Best Mayweather impersonation and elbow roll on the inside and typical of everyone not named Mayweather he gets hit frequently trying to implement it. Canelo's going to exploit Caleb's bad endurance with body shots and constant pressure, wear him down and find the big KO somewhere in the later rounds. I'm going with a KO in the 10th but it can happen anywhere after the 6th.

Jesus, what a mismatch. This is the kind of fight that really exhibits how shocking some smoker-feeds are in professional Boxing. You'd have to look long and hard to find a layup this atrocious in MMA. One of Baez's last three wins is a guy whose record is literally 3 37 2, and he's been KO'ed 12 times. Here's a snapshot (below). This isn't a Boxing record so much as it is a dossier of masochism. If you look at Baez's record, it's pretty clear as he took fights against better guys he started getting merked and went back to fighting the lineup outside the soup kitchen. I guess he wants to dip his toe in against the real comp again, but he's going to get ****** up Horribly here, really. Vargas is a solid fighter. Absurdly lanky arms for his stature, good fundamentals, knows how to use his reach. He takes it by stoppage reasonably early IMO.

Lomachenko faces recent IBF World Champion and top 5(maybe 6) Richard Commey on December 11th at MSG.
It's not been officially announced yet but it is all but guaranteed, only an injury would change things.
It's a good fight, potentially a great fight! Commey is no joke, a big puncher and his only real loss(he was robbed x2!) is vs Teofimo in a shoot out.

I'll check out the link and say first that Lomachenko looked sharp and solid, just a massive change in his attitude in that last fight. It was great to see him with fire in his belly again.

This is Canelo’s biggest test so far since his return. Caleb Plant has a dangerous jab but Canelo just takes you to the point where your body just gives out (Body shots vs Smith, face injury vs Saunders). Both men move their head like nothing too which makes their fight so competitive. I’ll take Plant by Decision. I think he will use the jab to counter the big punches from Canelo and set up combos.

my prediction: Canelo and Plant don't enter the ring until 1:30 AM eastern time because they're waiting for the ufc to end and then Canelo wins by TKO in the 8th. Plant is a good fighter, but this isn't some dude he can just jab to victory like he did in the hood way back.
