Hatton moves to 4-0 despite being pretty laughably subpar. And Martinez drops to a brutal 2-5 despite being 5x the boxer Hatton is. That is taking money and opportunities away from Martinez. Fast. Because people with 50 fights and five losses in boxing are sometimes dismissed unfairly. But five losses in 7 fights? This dude is losing chances, money, and big-fight opportunies that Hatton will get thanks to hometown cooking and obviously his last name.
It's pathetic and genuinely such a shame. This is why it's hard to love boxing nowadays. It's always been a problem, but I swear the **** gets worse every year.
