You are correct. The rule states that fighters have to be able to make it to their corner by themselves without any assistance. Unless the NSAC has changed something up it should apply tonight. Maybe Phillips can get the W or a DQ on a technicality lol

I think Kyler won that fight, but I can comprehend scoring it the other way. But I wasnt on here earlier, was it unanimous that they were smoking crack during the Maverick Barber fight? Cause IDK how she wins that unless Macy blasted her all through the first round I didnt get to see.

Yeah because I truly don't think Paiva could have walked after the first, and it would have been stopped if they made him.

We've definitely seen someone get mounted, eat a bunch of shots, bell rings and they stay on the ground and the ref waves it off. Getting up, showing you're okay, and making back to the corner is part of getting saved by the bell.

Phillips has great ability if he can pace and home it in. He’s flashy and fun so he’ll get that hype. He needs to pace it and home it in a bit. The books out on him now too. It’s only gonna be harder now. He can get better from that or just be a fun fan favorite. Similar to Michel Pereira, IMO. Fortunately for Phillips, youth is on his side.

Completely agree, I woulda bet anything if he had tried to stand up he woulda face planted himself a second later... I think he was already in his corner though... Tbh I can't remember where he was in the cage after the madness. What's for sure is he didn't move.

Bro whilst I admit to betting from time to time it's weird you're assuming everyone upset about the decision is so because they suffered financially. For me anyway I love this sport and it kills me to see people robbed of their achievements in it. It hurts the sport so much and turns new fans away. I'm sure most people here have a similar opinion.
