Kampmann has really done well lately, but I've seen him get KTFO'd in the past, and Alves is still one of the most devastating strikers at 170. I think Alves takes this one by KO in the 2nd round, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Kampmann take this one by decision.

Kampmann's best assets are his TDD and his technical striking, Neither of which will do him any good here. His TDD is useless to him in this fight and Alves striking is even more technical than Kampmanns. Great fight but Alves takes it by KO.

Can't wait to see this fight, but I think I'm going to side with Alves for the reasons @thiago expressed. I like both fighters, but I'm really hoping that Alves gets back on track. He has always been a severely under-estimated fighter, IMO.

Kampmann should watch the Story/Alves fight again, and use his ground game to win this fight but Martin is comfortable in his stand up and sometimes he tends to get lured in such a battle. I hope Kampmann fights a smart fight and can get the W but Alvas isn't a easy task for anybody in the WW division...

I love kampmann but he tends to fight opponents where they are strongest not in the best manner to win the fight.

I don't think Kampmann has good enough takedowns to get Alves down, but if he can he does have a very underrated groundgame and I could see him controlling Alves.

I love both these guys they both always bring it. I think Kampmann is the better fighter and a potential top five WW. He just needs to fight smart.

I think for the most part Alves is on the downfall of his carerr i don't think he has what it takes to hang around with the top guys anymore.
I think Kampmann will pick him apart in this fight on his way to either a sub or a TKO

Surprised at how many people picking Kampmann to me this is an easy pick. Kampmanns best 2 assets stand up + TDD .. Alves stand up is way better and Kampmann won't have to worry about tdd where's he going to win??

Actually Kampmann has a pretty good ground game. He surprised me against Paulo Thiago. Also, I don't know who is stand up is better. Kampmann is a pretty good striker.

Kampmann's striking defence is horrible! Story threw wild haymakers and caught him,so did Diego and so did Daley but of course Daley is a very good striker! Also Alves will find it easier taking Kampmann down then vice versa imo
