I think Kampmann got screwed with the judges a lot. He definitely won his fight against Jake Shields and Diego Sanchez. His record shouldn't be 18-5, but more like 20-3. I'm a fan of both Kampmann and Alves, but I think it'll be another close decision for Kampmann. I think Alves will tire out during the later rounds, and that Kampmann will come into the fight with a good gameplan and use his range and TDD to stay out of the clinch.

Turn it into a brawl? They're both extremely technical strikers, I don't think it would be benefical to either gy to turn it into a brawl. Also, Alves has fought 5 rounds before and looked okay, so I don't think cardio is an issue.

I'm still bitter about Kampmann losing that decision to Sanchez last year. One of the worse decisions of 2011 IMO.
