Let me Start, I find it insane it like 4 days to Chrismas , Im suprise it so close to the end of the Year,  Fells like Junes.Anyone have anything cool plan for Chrissy, I’m probley just gonna mess around at the gym

I don't live there anymore, but that would be my closest UFC live event.  Like all cities, it's large and heterogenous.  In the main, I thought it was beautiful, and I miss it.

Are there any notable UFC fighters in Chicago? The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Peña.

Edit: Curtis Blaydes lives in the Denver area but he's Chicago born and raised. So if he beats Pavlovich they could have Blaydes v. Jones in Chicago at the end of the year.

That’s nice. I’m a rural southern bumpkin so I couldn’t picture myself living in a largely urban country like that, though I do find the cities very appealing to look at during twilight

I don’t know about the rest of the card but I’d do Blaydes vs the winner of Stipe vs Jones as the headliner, Belal vs Colby as the co main, and Peña vs Aldana before that.

Back when I was in my late teens, I would take a ten minute walk to a rural farming store where they had canned sodas inside for fifty five cents. This one trip was like any other day, up until I got to the register. I was waiting in line behind this rather large bloke, mid 50s if I had to guess, had one of those worn white trash overall getup you’d see in an episode of ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’. As I was waiting, I noticed this advertisement standing across from the man, couldn’t remember what it was for the life of me but it had some humorous slogan that got a chuckle out of me.

The senior man I was standing next to turned to me, looked at me in the eye and said “What the **** are you laughing about, kid?”

I was offended and felt threatened, but I didn’t really know how to react to the situation, as the bloke was rather large in size, but simultaneously very old and unhealthy looking, so even if I did instigate a fight it would still be a jab at my pride, like “Oh, you beat up an old man, you’re so ******* cool. What are you gonna do next, waterboard an orphan?” So I did the only thing I could conjure up in the heat of the moment: I pretended to be deaf.

Next thing I knew I was improvising gang signs and trying to communicate to him in my made-up mute dialect that I was disabled of hearing. It took a good couple seconds before his expression began to widen and he started mumbling ‘sorry’ under his breath (like I could ******* hear him) in a very embarrassed tone. He then insisted to the cashier to buy my sodas as a form of an apology, which he did.

The most surreal part in all this was that the cashier knew I wasn’t deaf. She had seen me come in and make casual banter on multiple occasions up to this point, but she didn’t interject or say a ******* thing. The minute the guy walked out, she cackled like a mad *****. 

On the plus side, got a free six pack of Mountain Dew.

He is from the suburbs of Chicago.  He went to Harper JUCO s my friend knew him from there.

We all do stupid stuff when were young, i was like 16. I used to work at a movie theater and pretended i only had 1 arm. i just tucked my left arm behind my back and cashed them out and gave tickets with 1 arm in the box office. I kept getting nervous looks from customers who were trying their best not to stare, i thought i was hilarious.

Then my buddy did the same thing and literally cracked halfway through the 1st customer and pulled his arm back out and couldn't control his laughing. He couldnt commit to the lie, ******* rookie.

What a schmuck. I would’ve gone the extra mile and just added a third arm to the mix

Reece Street is the worst jobber in the UK scene which is saying something! Funny thing is that way back in his very first amateur fight, he won by TKO after 7 seconds of the first round. His opponant Jay Robinson never fought again.

Jesus, imagine if some major MMA publication published a an article called "Top 100 P4P MMA Fighters According To Tapology" lol! We'd be made to to look like a proper madhouse!

So I've had a look over the Tapology Worldwide Men's P4P Ranking and the top 50 is pretty decent. Then from 50 onwards, it goes down hill fast. But you know what the real kicker here is? Right in the middle of the decent section and the bums section, we find your friend and mine @Tieoken! Yep, we've made him the Worldwide P4P gatekeeper of bums! He deserves so much better lol!

Ahh, Jay Ellis, the king of cans himself. Deserving of such a high accolade as #56 PFP fighter. He’s made many people’s careers, while also having wins over legitimate prospects (Gerald Meerschart and Daniel Weichel)

Also I find calling Tieoken a can-crusher to be an appalling representation of his skill level. I’ve fought Austin in sparring, and he was not what I expected. He just happened to be visiting my gym, and imma be honest, I’ve never seen a guy walk into a gym with such confidence. This dude strutted onto the mat, wearing rusty metallic hand-crafted gladiatorial armor straight out of a Mad Max movie, all while riding on a ******* horse! Him and me started rolling shortly after and it was barely a fight, he just picked my entire body up by the neck with one hand while a glowing purple aura radiated from his eyes and body.“YOU CAME TO FIGHT A MADMAN, INSTEAD YOU FOUND A GOD!!”Austin yelled into my soul before gradually ragdolling me around the mat by my ankles like Hulk did to Loki in The Avengers. He then spat on my half-dead deflated body before casually walking out of the gym to **** my wife.

Austin is deserving of his #51 status. He is a beast.
