@Cheeseball Colby is my favourite fighter by far, probably followed up by Darren Till. Both entertaining outside and inside the cage.

I'll play devil's advocate for a bit. Even thou I believe Pena is guilty. But how do we know any of this is true. The girlfriend could very well be lying or making **** up. When we hear these violent or domestic issues, the 1st thing we want is the fighter fired. Similarly to abdul razak alhassan who was found not guilty of his crimes. Everyone wanted his head on a plate because he was accused of raping that girl. He was then found innocent.
My thoughts of him being guilty are soley based on his personality and the way I've seen him behave. He seems like a loose cannon and alittle unstable imo. But that's not enough to fire, destroy and out him in jail.

@gregory I noticed a new advisory on Wes O'Neill's page that he throws fights and future opponents of his will be recorded as exhibition matches which don't contribute to a fighter's record, and I really like that. Was that your decision? And is there a specific win/loss ratio a fighter has to have to be classified that way or is it a case-by-case basis? I've got a big ol' list of chumps who deserve that warning on their page haha

Whatever it is Haim Gozali needs the same treatment. That 3 second Heel hook he got 2 days ago was the biggest load of horse ****. Clearly a fake match.

yeah 3 seconds is pretty damn suspicious, but then again Gozali probably immediately imanari rolled into it I'm guessing so it might have been an early tap but it would've probably been the same result if the guy had tried to hold out for longer.

every fight on the card ended by first round finish lol there was a 20 second submission as well a few fights before. I think the whole damn card was fake.

Did anybody watch that could be a typo 30 seconds maybe..but yeah 3 seconds is ******** 15 is fast think an old fixed fight was 9 seconds.

Eduard Muravitskiy fight look more suspicious to me 11sec.
Think neal is just a can sadly a lot of professional punching bags/tappers.

@fisty It's on a case by case basis and we are being very cautious to not flag someone for this just because we are suspicious or unsure.  We did actually look at some of Haim Gozali's recent matches, given the lame "fight" he just had on the Dice event.  There's nothing definitive or conclusive we've seen at this time. Certainly if more evidence emerges of wrongdoing we can reevaluate.

Also I set a timer on that Gozali fight from when the fight started until the tap, and it was not 3 seconds. They  failed to start the timer at the event promptly. I've updated it to 5 seconds.

I find the later end of his career sketchy lol finishes 2-0 in Bellator and ends up fighting in Ukraine somewhere next? and then to The Dice Team promotions? seems so strange to win and go down in promotions. Only real reason would be they guaranteed you wins?

I don't consider Haim Gozali is a proper "rostered" Bellator fighter.  They've had a lot of random people filling out their prelims over the past several years.

@greg at what point do we not use the official record of the fight from the sanctioning body or regulator and deem the fight fixed? If a fight that is almost obviously fixed but there is no such proof and a athletic commission or over seas commission gives it a result, should we change the result? I don't don't believe we should but simply put a notation or asterisk next to the fight. Honestly feel the same way about the clock issue. If the official record is 3 seconds but the reality is 5 seconds. I think the official record is what should be listed with a notation or asterisk for additional information. Just my opinion

We could go back really and list Bob Sapp, Rickson Gracie, Nobuhiko Takada, Mark Coleman, Don Frye, Oleg Taktarov, and Sean Salmon for fights that were possibly fixed without actual proof.  Only Tae Hyun Bang vs Leo Kuntz in the UFC was proven to be a fixed fight but Bang accidentally won the fight he was throwing to my amusement
