The reason Leon Edwards doesn't get fights is simple; He's boring as ****. He has three finishes out of 14 fights in UFC, and all of those have been over substandard competition.

I don't really know what everybody is salty about. He's a solid fighter but he'll either never hold the belt or won't retain it very long.

I agree. Plus the inactivity and the fact that he still hasn’t gotten a quality win is more than enough to say he doesn’t deserve it. I personally think he’s boring as **** but it’s the only fight that would make sense to challenge Usman rn plus I can’t really think of another fight that would headline. I was thinking maybe mcgregor somehow, or if the ufc is really ********, they could book poirier vs diaz as the headliner (awful idea please don’t do this ufc)

Wait I’m dumb as ****. They scrapped both title fights for 272 and moved them to 273 I think. So March is gonna be headlined by someone else

Colby, Jorge, and Burns hadn't really fought any premier talent up until their title shots either, their records are just as bad as Edwards if you consider Edwards' record bad. The top of the welterweight division is just completely log-jammed and you can argue against anyone being worthy of receiving a title shot.

It probably will. Paddy largely takes the fight to the ground, his whole game is scrambling for submissions. He'll probably start losing by decisions rather than anything else.

He seems like the type of guy who fights to appeal the fans tho, like chandler. I have a feeling he’s going to be more of a standup fighter then going to where his actual skill lies just to appease fans
