Yeah rooting for TKZ but Volk is a bad matchup maybe the worst unless he can keep it standing and counter.

TKZ gets hit too much.

I see TKZ having moments against Alex in standup, but just moments, imo Volkanovski wins by well-roudness 

Who knows, maybe a finish in late rounds

Would be cool if he did another classic highlight reel ko but volk is literally just different

A couple retorethical questions and significant topic when it comes to changes. 

From what we've experienced in Makhachev case - even tho there was a big hypetrain, man was on a winstreak, supported by Khabib, even all that, it was super hard for him to fight anyone from top15 that would risk himself a spot fighting Islam. So was that UFC guilty of making Islam wait so long? Did they not offer his possible opponents enough? Or they actually couldnt so much about it? We can all agree, that Islam could be in top10 or top5 much sooner, probably was ready for that for more than a year or 2 now.

What am I heading to?

We've got big names in top10, plus Nate Diaz knocking on door to participate. Big names means big money big fights.
Appearently Gregor does not want to take anyone who is lower in rankings, that's what he said. He says he is 35 and it is about time he gets his run for that belt. Tony.. Tony is Tony, we have no idea what happens with him, imo he doesn't take any prospect fight, he probably wants to earn big money at the end of his carrier (considering he already knows its the end, which in his case might not be so obvious). We've got this staced top5 that I believe no one from these guys wants to fight anyone not ranked above or lower than #5. RDA pulling out of fights lately, Hooker heading to featherweight.

So if you are top 10 - top 15, how are you actually breaking thru this barrier? Gamrot, Tsarukyan, Alvarez, Fiziev etc. could speed up and bring some prospect - big dog fights, but the question is, is that marketable and profitable enough to make such moves? Does Dana want to lose Tony and company so early? Big fights with it ofcourse, like Conor Tony or Conor Chandler.

Problem is, that we probably will witness atleast 6  (in my opinion even 12) months of delay. Who can Gamrot actually face next? Probably deserves someone higher ranked, but possibilities are starting to end, I think it will be a year of short notices and fighter replacements for prospect so they can somehow bring it to top10 and higher.

It’s tough because pretty much everyone in the top 10 besides Gregor and beniel are megastars or at least known by most fans so they’re only gonna want to fight big money fights. I think they’re just gonna have to learn to grow a pair and realize that they aren’t just in the entertainment game, but the fight game too

its tangled up like a can of worms, there are no easy solutions to these types of problems. the ufc could start to apply more pressure on fighters to take the fights the ufc wants to promote. fighters only wanting higher ranked fighters or big money fights will at some point create a bottle neck that wont be easy to unclog. maybe some kind of tournament? 

Go full K-1 and strip the Champion of his belt bi-annually and force the top 10 into a tournament setting. 

There should be something in the contracts that you can only turn down a certain number of fights before being penalized. I think it’s ridiculous that Tony wants to subject himself to torture by getting pulverized by chandler instead of getting wrestle****** by Gregor; the Gregor fight would be so much easier on his body and, let’s be honest Tony should just go for what is gonna hurt him the least cuz he’s not beating anyone in the top 15 imo. I honestly think he loses yo some of the guys outside the top 15 too. 

It would be epic if they did a tournament or 2 but I doubt it will happen

Conspiracy theory. I see 4 fights that were pulled on the Kattar vs Giga card for "undisclosed reasons"

Belief they were positive Covid withdraws and UFC doesnt want to say that to alarm people.

Why in the era of this weird pandemic everyone talks about masks and social distancing, noone talks about improving your immune system as much as possible

While our immune systems are literally getting worse by sitting in home (multiple reasons as less Vitamines, less movement, less viruses our body fight to train itself etc) 

I know for a fact that KR vs adashev was cancelled because KR got the flu and adashev got injured. And barcelos vs Henry got rescheduled. The other two could be covid

Although the ufc has actually been pretty good about covid. I think they have the lowest positive rates out of any major sport. Much better than the ******s in the NBA and NFL. Those guys couldn’t stop getting covid if you paid them
